WWE has been using a term more often that was previously banned by Vince McMahon from being said on television. That word is “wrestling.”
We reported in the past the McMahon does not like the term wrestling and asked that everyone stop using it. They even renamed their roster from “wrestlers” to “superstars.”
WWE has been using the word more lately, even going as far as calling the future Edge vs Randy Orton match the “the greatest wrestling match ever.” The speculation is that it’s Paul Heyman who has been pushing for the term to be used. Heyman is a big fan of the “wrestling” mentality and is likely the one convincing McMahon to relent on the ban.
