NXT superstar and current tag champion Pete Dunne fired back at a fan on Twitter who claimed the Bruiserweight’s talents were being wasted in NXT UK. Dunne, who regularly works NXT on USA rather than the UK brand, says he was built as a dominant champion who recently had a high-profile match at Survivor Series. He writes, “I was champion for 685 days (longest reign of any title company wide), since then I’ve been in the royal rumble, wrestled for the NXT title at survivor series and I’m a current tag team champion. Don’t like replying to these kind of tweets but some of them are too daft not to.”
