Last night, Joey Ryan took to Twitter to address the recent allegations against him. He mentioned that he can’t go into too much details, but does deny the extent that he’s being accused. He adds that he’s done some bad things to people, however, and has been seeking therapy.
Unfortunately, this led to a lot of Ryan’s peers coming forward to call his address out for being fake. Joey Janela called him a “lying fucking piece of shit.” Ryan Nemeth, who has been very outspoken about the worst aspects of the wrestling industry lately, chimed in. He dismisses Joey Ryan’s attempt at an apology and adds, “you’re a fucking loser, a liar, and a monster.”
Nemeth says that Bar Wrestling didn’t stop booking him, he just stopped being booked there. He blames that entirely on disliking Joey Ryan. He’s been working for a while now on a movie that is supposed to touch of subjects like predators, drug use, and politicking in professional wrestling. The working title of the movie is Heel. He describes it as the “Ultimate Wrestling Movie.” He’s been making comments about a wrestler, or possibly wrestlers, being sexual predators on twitter for a few months now.
