Shad Gaspard’s funeral took place over the week in Los Angeles, CA.
Among those who spoke at Gaspard’s funeral were Jayson “JTG” Paul, Kofi Kingston, Ezekiel Jackson, Joel Eisenberg, and of course family members. Lillian Garcia also performed a song for everyone. The room was said to be filled with wrestling talent from around the world.
Shad Gaspard was found dead on May 20th, 2020. He was out on the beach with his son when a high tide took them both under. A rescue team was sent out to find them. When they found Shad first, he instructed them to go get his son first and come back for him. They were able to rescue his son, but by the time they came back a second wave took Shad under. They weren’t able to find his body for a couple days until it washed on shore. Shad Gaspard passed away a hero.
