Impact Wrestling will begin teasing the return of EC3 on tonight’s show, according to Fightful Select.
As we’ve noted, EC3 was one of the former WWE talents teased in the recent promo for the July 18 Slammiversary pay-per-view, which airs just days after their 90-day non-compete clauses with WWE expire. Impact will begin teasing his return during tonight’s show by playing his theme song.
While EC3 won’t actually appear on tonight’s show, they will play his theme song. The company owns the rights to the song and can use it however they see fit.
There’s still no word on if EC3 will be returning to the company, or who from the teaser will be at Slammiversary. EC3, Drake Maverick, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Mike and Maria Kanellis, Eric Young, Curt Hawkins, and a Bulgarian flag, possibly for Rusev, were used. Drake will not be returning as he re-signed with WWE.
