The Revival Now Being Called The Revolt?

It looks like The Revival will now be called The Revolt.

The former Dash Wilder, now using the name Cash Wheeler after The Revival’s recent WWE departures, filed to trademark “Fear The Revolt” on Friday, April 10. The following use descriptions were filed with the USPTO (United States Patent & Trademark Office):

“G & S: Hats; Pants; Shirts; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts.”

“G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainment personality; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestlers and sports entertainers in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes.”

As noted over the weekend at this link, new merchandise from Pro Wrestling Tees, along with social media changes, indicate that Scott Dawson will now be called Dax Hardwood.

Dax and Cash are reportedly free to start with any promotion they want as they were not under 90-day non-compete clauses with WWE. It’s believed that The Revolt is headed to AEW, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
