AEW President Tony Khan issued a short statement on Twitter hyping up this Wednesday’s AEW title match between champion Jon Moxley and challenger Jake Hager. The bout, which was pre-taped two weeks ago, will be a No Holds Barred empty arena contest, and called by AEW senior advisor Jim Ross.
Khan writes, “The most anticipated match in #AEWDynamite history will also be the most brutal & memorable match we’ve put on TV as @JonMoxley defends the AEW World Title vs.
@RealJakeHager No Holds Barred with @JRsBBQ on the call. I believe this will be known as the best empty arena match ever.”
