Tony Khan Sanctions Brian Cage Match For AEW Dark, Stars Respond

Indie star Robert Anthony, who has regularly been working AEW Dark, took to Twitter to call out ECW legend Taz and his client Brian Cage for Cage’s attack on world champion Jon Moxley on Dynamite last week. Anthony says, “Hey @OfficialTAZ I’v been friends with Mox for over 10 years. We’ve traveled across the country together, and gone to war together. Your boy put my friend through a car window. Where we come from we live by a code. Fight one, fight us all. Taz, I want Cage.”

AEW President Tony Khan saw Anthony’s request and sanctioned the match for next week’s Dark. He writes, “You want it? You got it. Next week on Dark. Good luck, man.”

Taz would later respond to Anthony writing, “I respect your body of work, I respect your loyalty your friend and I also respect your guts. But I have to let you know… you will get completely smashed if you mess w/ @MrGMSI_BCage.”

Anthony fired back at Taz stating, “I’m literally doing what no one has the balls to do in @AEWrestling. I’m calling out @MrGMSI_BCage. When you go to war you have to dig two graves. One for you, and one for the guy you are going to battle. Iv dug many graves and I’m still here. Your move Brutha.”

It was here that Cage entered the conversation, warning Anthony that he’ll get exactly what he’s asked for. He writes, “I can appreciate you trying to make a name for yourself, but this ain’t it. Your 15 minutes of fame already happened vs Mox. It’s not gonna take that long for me. As a matter of fact, It won’t take any time at all. Not sure you want to go down that path, the path of cage.”
