Triple H reportedly addressed the WWE NXT roster on Sunday before and after the “Takeover: In Your House” event in regards to current events in the country, including Black Lives Matter, according to WrestlingINC.
Triple H spoke to talent before the show and invited anyone to discuss their feelings, and specifically mentioned BLM. He told talent that he was open to having that discussion. Talent were said to be receptive but there was no open conversation that took place while everyone was gathered. Triple H also had a post-show meeting with talent where he mentioned how proud he was of the roster for standing up for what they believe in at an important time. Triple H reportedly became emotional at the post-show meeting, commenting on how he wants everyone to matter, regardless of their race, religion or orientation. He added that he wants everyone to set an example for the world.
The post-show moment was said to be powerful in uniting everyone together.
