We reported earlier today that IMPACT Wrestling star Joey Ryan had deactivated his social media accounts following a slew of allegations made against Ryan in the past two days, which include him groping a woman without her consent on a travel trip.
According to PW Insider, while IMPACT has yet to publicly address the situation the feeling is that Ryan will not be returning to work for the promotion. He was leading the #CancelCulture faction, which at one point included ECW legend Rob Van Dam.
IMPACT Wrestling’s parent company Anthem released the following statement regarding the current #SpeakingOut movement:
It is a core value of the Anthem organization that we conduct our business with respect and integrity, providing a safe and secure work environment for our employees and performers.
Besides Ryan, oVe member Dave Crist was called out for misconduct as well. No update as to his status at this time.
