WWE superstar Kevin Owens revealed in an interview yesterday that he tweaked his ankle at WrestleMania 36 during his triumphant win over Seth Rollins. Owens says he was set to undergo an X-Ray to determine the amount of damage his ankle sustained, which is why he has been absent from Monday Night Raw.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Owens is expected to miss a few more weeks of action. Whether that’s an indication that Owens didn’t hurt his ankle as badly as expected, or if he’s yet to find out results remains to be seen. The former Universal champion did mention in his interview that he was taking advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic by spending time with his family.
