WWE 205 LIVE RESULTS (11/1/2019)

The show starts with the opening sequence as the 205 Live intro song begins. The cameras pan the crowd in the arena as we are welcomed to tonight’s episode of 205 Live taking place in Buffalo, NY by Tom Phillips and Aiden English.

Isaiah “Swerve” Scott makes his way to the ring first coming down the ramp and entering the ring sliding in under the bottom rope, removing his sunglasses and goes to pose as Ariya Daivari comes out of nowhere from attacking Scott from behind, slamming Scott into the barricades on the outside of the ring.

Daivari continues assaulting Scott on the inside of the ring, as several referees make their way into the ring to seperate the two. Scott is holding his chest in the corner of the ring as two referees are checking to make sure the superstar is ok. A third referee keeps Devari in the opposite corner as the other referees are checking the status on Scott’s injuries and ability to continue. Scott is asked if he can continue with the match. Nodding, the bell rings and the match begins.

Scott regains control of this match, with an early knee strike followed by pounding hits repeatitively on Daivari. A shot to the throat on Scott to counter. Daivari once again attacking Scott following a Running Elbow. Davairi laughing as he holds Scott in a chokehold. Scott makes his way back to his feet. Daivari attempting a Suplex, Scott counters with his own. Daivari somehow bursts back to his feet, a kick to the face by Scott.

Scott still holding his midsection as he attempts to regain control of the match, with an uppercut to the back of Daivari’s neck. Daivari throws Scott into the ropes, Scott counters with a Snap German Suplex followed by a two count pin attempt. Daivari with a boot the the face of Scott. Scott with a DDT from the ropes and another two count pin attempt, Daivari kicks out again. Scott panting, trying to catch his breath in the corner of the ring.

Scott on the top rope, misses the move and a big boot Superkick by Daivari dropping Scott and attempting a pin, Scott kicks out. Daivari looking angry as he makes his way back to his feet. Daivari with a Hammerlock attempt. Scott escapes with a counter. Daivari struggles to crawl over to Scott for a pin attempt, Scott kicks out. Daivari drags Scott to his feet, more hits to the head. Scott gains momentum with backhands to the chest of Daivari. Both men go for a clothesline, knocking both men to the mat.

Daivari struggles to get to his feet, Scott doing the same. Daivari is first to his feet yelling “do you think this is your house? This is Daivari’s house!” into the face of Scott. Scott attacks Daivari, ending with a Double Stomp to the chest of Daivari on the outside of the ring. Scott throws Daivari back into the ring as he makes his way to the top rope. Daivari meets him with a belly to belly from the top rope. Daivari now tries to drag himself to the top rope, the crowd booing. Daivari misses.

Scott with a big kick, gets the three count pin for the win in this match up.

Commentary by Tom Phillips and Aiden English takes us to footage of Crown Jewel featuring the events surrounding Sunil Singh and R-Truth and the championship exchange back and forth during the pay-per-view.

Jack Gallagher vs. Ray Jazikoff

Jack Gallagher makes his way to the ring wearing a short blue robe and knee high socks, entering the ring where Ray Jazikoff is already waiting in the ring. Both men shake hands as the bell rings and the match begins. Jazikoff takes control to begin this match.Gallagher counters pulling back on the arm of Jazikoff while posing with a cover. Jazikoff makes his way back to his feet, getting Gallagher in a hold of his own.

Gallagher gives his body to Jazikoff for the counter. Gallagher hanging upside down with his feet in the air with a showoff move, jumping over Jazikoff. Gallagher knocks Jazikoff out of the ring, sending Jazicoff into the barrier, followed by a headbutt to the midsection. Gallagher with a Gentleman’s Dropkick to the face before throwing Jazikoff back in the ring. Another kick to the face by Gallagher followed by a pin for the three count and win.

Winner: Jack Gallagher

A WrestleMania 36 advertisement airs, announcing tickets go on sale November 15, 2019 for the event which is set to take place April 20, 2020 from Tampa Bay, FL.

It is announced that NXT UK wrestlers will join 205 Live next week.

Raul Mendoza vs. Lio Rush

Mendoza makes his way to the ring first as his music sounds in the arena. Next to come out is Lio Rush wearing the Cruiserweight Championship belt around his waist with a smile on his face as he makes his way down the ramp. Rush enters the ring. The referee signals for the bell to ring, beginning this match. Both men rush into a lockup early on.

Rush grabs Mendoza around the waist, throwing him into the ropes. Mendoza counters with a takedown. Mendoza attempts a Back Slide, Rush scurries out of the move. Rush reaches for the hand of Mendoza, flipping over and pulling Rush out of the ring. Rush back into the ring only to go flying back through the ropes for a splash onto Mendoza outside of the ring. Both men make their way back into the ring. Rush with a kick to the midsection of Mendoza in the corner of the ring.

Rush with a Suplex and a cover attempt, Mendoza kicks out at two. Rush looking a little upset that this didn’t end the match, makes his way to the top turnbuckle. Mendoza makes his way over, stopping Rush from getting to the top for the move. Mendoza with a Spinning Neckbreaker and a cover attempt. Rush kicks out, rolling away holding his neck. Mendoza with a backhand to the chest of Rush in the corner of the ring. Mendoza drags Rush to the next corner of the ring. Rush with a backhand to the chest of Mendoza, trying to get out of the corner.

Mendoza still holding control of the match, gets a boot to the face of Rush, another pin attempt. Rush kicks out. Rush with a big kick to the side of the knee on Mendoza. Rush gets back to his feet only to be locked up by Mendoza and put into a Chokehold by Mendoza. Rush makes his way back to his feet, getting a few good hits in on Mendoza. Once again Mendoza counters, getting a hook of the leg for another cover. Rush kicks out at two.

Rush in a Chokehold by Mendoza as the crowd starts clapping, trying to get Rush back to his feet. Rush flips Mendoza with his full body weight followed by a Jawbreaker. Rush picks up the pace only to be shutdown by a kick to the face by Mendoza and another pin attempt. A Snap Suplex by Mendoza on Rush who is now laying in the center of the ring as Mendoza makes it to the top rope. Rush rolls outside of the ropes, Mendoza climbs back down.

Mendoza grabs Rush by the neck on the edge of the apron outside of the ropes. Both men exchange heavy shots back and forth as the crowd cheers and boos accordingly in favor of Rush. Mendoza with a huge boot to the jaw of Rush. Mendoza with a Suplex attempt on the edge of the apron, Rush with a Moonsault off the bottom rope onto Mendoza for the counter. Rush back to his feet with an elbow to the face of Mendoza.

Rush is thrown back into the ring with an elbow to the face of his own as the ref counts to nine and both men are back in the ring. Rush with a back elbow on Mendoza. Rush with a kick to the face followed by a pin attempt, Mendoza kicking out at 2.999. Rush looking into the face of Mendoza as Mendoza attempts to make his way back to his feet. Mendoza gets a boot to the face, bouncing Rush off the ropes, followed by a pin attempt by Mendoza. Rush kicks out at two and a half.

Mendoza looking angry, drags Rush to the center of the ring trying to hoist Rush up. Rush blocking with everything he has. Rush gets a Single Leg Crab on Mendoza who is reaching for the rope, inching across the ring. Rush drags Mendoza back to the center of the ring, only for a counter kick by Mendoza. Rush and Mendoza exchange kicks. Rush kicks off the bottom rope followed by a soccer style kick followed by a Frog Splash off the top rope for the cover, putting Mendoza away with the three count pin.

Winner: Lio Rush

After the Match

Rush makes his way over to Mendoza who is holding his chest in the corner of the ring. Rush looks Mendoza in the eye momentarily, followed by putting his fist out giving Mendoza a fist bump before grabbing his belt from the referee as we go to commercial, ending tonight’s episode of 205 Live.
