WWE 205 LIVE RESULTS (2/28): BOSTON, MA.
Joaquin Wilde vs. Raul Mendoza
Both Wilde and Mendoza make their way to the ring as 205 Live kicks off in the TD Garden Arena in Boston, MA. The match is officially announced, the bell rings and the match begins. Mendoza lands a Dropkick on Wilde to start off the match. Mendoza attempts an early cover, Wilde immediately kicks out. Both men back to their feet.
Wilde is put in a submission move by Mendoza in the center of the ring. Mendoza holds Wilde in a submission move, followed by a Basement Drop Kick for the cover. Wilde kicks out at two. Mendoza immediately locks in yet another submission move on Wilde, Wilde finally finds his way out, breaking free. Wilde lands a Power Bomb off the ropes onto Mendoza.
The match makes it’s way to the outside of the ring. A bit of back and forth action between the two, finally Wilde lands a Hurricanrana onto Mendoza off the steel stairs. The match makes it’s way back inside the ring. More back and forth action between the two men, Mendoza hit with Double Knee Drop by Wilde who goes for the pin.
Mendoza kicks out at two. Wilde lands a Frankensteiner on Mendoza who quickly counters with a Spanish Fly of his own for the cover. Wilde kicks out of the cover at two. Mendoza attempts a Moonsault following fury of fists between both men, Wilde lifts his knees for the block. Mendoza seemingly hurt by the knees to the midsection, Wilde gains the upper hand, landing his finisher, Wilde Thing for the three count pin and win.

Lio Rush vs. Tony Nese
Out first is Tony Nese as his music sounds in the Boston, MA Arena. Nese makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring awaiting his opponent. Lio Rush’s music sounds next in the arena as Rush makes his entrance onto the stage, then makes his way down the ramp. Rush enters the ring with opponent Nese. The referee signals for the bell to ring, the match officially begins.
Nese holds his hands up at Rush, telling him, “I know what Boston wants” as he kneels onto one knee and shows off his guns. The crowd boos as the Rush looks on. Rush looks to establish control early on, shoving Nese into the corner of the ring. Rush trips up Nese as Nese goes off the ropes. Rush with a strong right hand on Nese.
Nese in the corner of the ring, Rush throws multiple Chops. Nese counters and lands a few good hits on Rush. Rush flips Nese and lands a Knee to the jaw, Nese knocked out of the ring. Sunset Flip by Nese. Nese attempts the cover, Rush powers out at two. Back and forth action between the two men inside the ring.
Nese throws Rush outside of the ring. Rush makes his way to the apron, Nese with multiple kicks on Rush who gets tied up in the ropes momentarily. Nese knocked out of the ring, Rush flies off the ropes, landing on Nese outside of the ring. Nese enters the ring as Rush climbs up top. Nese recovers with south paw to the jaw of Rush.
Rush gets the shoulder up at two as Nese once again goes for the pin. Nese hits a Springboard Moonsault, going for the pin once again. Rush kicks out. Nese lifts Rush to the top turnbuckle, then climbs to the bottom rope, wrapping Rush’s arm over his shoulder. Rush holds on out of desperation. Rush throws a few jabs.
Rush able to break Nese away, Nese falls to the mat. Rush climbs to a standing position, landing a Crossbody on Nese. Rush attempts to turn the match around with fast paced DDT and a cover. Nese powers out of the pin. Suplex with the Bridge for the pin on Rush by Nese later in the match. Nese immediately locks in the Boston Crab in the center of the ring.
Rush refuses to tap out as the referee checks with him. Rush begins crawling to the ropes, Nese drags Rush back to the center. Crab completely locked in. Rush finally breaks free. Spin Kick by Rush. Nese with a quick roll up pin attempt. Rush hits the Come Up for the pin, Mike Kanellis enters the ring illegally and breaks the count.
Winner by DQ: Lio Rush
After the Match
Danny Burch and Olney Lorcan come out to their music to come to the aid of Lio Rush. Burch attacking Nese on the ramp. They brawl all the way to the back.
Lio Rush is left alone in the ring, A vicious attack ending in a Headbutt to Lio Rush by Jack Gallagher.
