WWE returns from their own Performance Center training facility in Orlando, Florida for this week’s edition of WWE 205 Live, featuring the latest weekly action from the Cruiserweight-themed show, immediately following the WWE Friday Night SmackDown broadcast.

WWE 205 LIVE RESULTS (3/27): ORLANDO, FL.

For tonight’s 205 Live, Oney Lorcan is ready to redeem himself following his loss to Isaiah “Swerve” Scott on last week’s episode of 205 Live. Tonight Lorcan is set to take on Tony Nese. Also on the card for tonight is Isaiah “Swerve” Scott fresh off last week’s victory over Oney Lorcan, Scott is ready to prove himself once again as he takes on Joaquin Wilde here tonight in the Performance Center, live!

Opening Sequence

The 205 Live opening sequence plays us in to tonight’s episode of 205 Live from the Performance Center in Orlando, FL.

Isaiah “Swerve” Scott vs. Joaquin Wilde

We enter the arena as the music sounds for Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, Scott walking with his hands clasped behind his back with an innocence as he is almost skipping to the ring.

(We see Aiden English and Jon Quasto sitting ringside at the announcer’s table. English thanks us for inviting them into our homes. They remind us we are a little over a week away from Wrestlemania. Quasto then states Swerve is here to continue his winning streak, but he has to go through the EDM DJ to do it.)

On that note, Joaquin Wilde’s music sounds in the arena as he makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring with his awaiting opponent, Swerve. Wilde finishes his entrance, the bell rings and the match begins. An early take down by Swerve. Wilde counters quickly, taking the back of Swerve. Wilde is able to ground Swerve.

Quasto notes that Wilde is still fairly new to the division. Wilde throws Swerve into the corner, Swerve flipping. Head Scissor from Wilde, then a Head Scissor from Swerve for the counter. Swerve with a smirk on his face as Wilde looks on. Wilde attempting to throw Swerve off his game.

Swerve heads to the outside of the ring, Wilde attempts to fly through the ropes on Swerve who side steps and lands a hard kick straight between the eyes of Wilde. Wilde goes down, taking the apron with him. The referee begins the count. Both men make it back into the ring. Swerve with the cover, Wilde kicks out, still holding his jaw from the kick moments ago.

Swerve with another cover attempt, Wilde gets a shoulder up. Swerve digging his elbow into the face of Wilde as he twists Wilde’s shoulder. Swerve lifts Wilde onto his back in a unique stretching submission hold. Swerve leans down to the mat for the pin, Wilde rolls through at two.

Swerve lands a few good kicks on Wilde as Wilde attempts to catch his breath. Swerve lifts Wilde to the top turnbuckle, throwing a Chop to the chest of Wilde. Wilde fighting out of desperation now. Wilde all the way up, wrapping his legs in a scissor hold mid-air around Swerve’s neck, flipping Swerve out of the ring.

Wilde quickly heads to the outside, again flipping Swerve, this time into the announcer’s table. Swerve heads back in the ring, Wilde attempts a move off the ropes, Swerve sees it coming as he shoves Wilde to the mat. Swerve with a pin attempt, Wilde gets a shoulder up. Both Superstars back to their feet. Wilde looking for the Wilde Thing.

Wilde with multiple Uppercuts. Swerve with a blow to the face of Wilde. Swerve ends up on the apron, climbing back in landing a German Suplex on Wilde. House Call by Swerve as he crawls for the cover on Wilde. Wilde kicks out at two. Swerve looking angry as he sits up, staring at Wilde.

Swerve climbs to the top, Wilde rolls out of the way, Swerve forced to roll through. Wilde heads to the top rope going for the Inside Out, Swerve with the Pop Up Michinoku Driver and the cover for the three count pin and win.

Winner: Isaiah “Swerve” Scott

With that we go to a short break. Wrestlemania announcements are highlighted.

Aiden English and Jon Quasto discuss last night’s NXT UK where the NXT title made it’s way across the pond for the first time. Jordan Devlin vs. Kiwi Buzzsaw. Devlin finding a way to win, grabbing the rope for leverage.

Tony Nese vs. Oney Lorcan

The main event of the evening, Tony Nese makes his way to the ring first. Nese showing off his abs as he heads down the ramp towards the ring. Nese stops on the apron, showing off his muscles once again, for a crowd of zero, then entering the ring.

Out next is Oney Lorcan who quickly makes his way down the ramp and enters the ring. Lorcan climbs in holding up the #1 above his head. The referee sends both men to their corners, the bell rings and the match begins. Lorcan bulldogs Nese into the corner to start things off. The referee separates them.

Nese circles Lorcan, finally grabbing the shoulder of Lorcan. Lorcan counters with a take down, Lorcan wrapping his leg over the neck of Nese. Nese attempts to power out, unable as Lorcan locks his legs tighter. Nese with a quick cover, Lorcan kicks out. Nese heads right back into the Headlock. Lorcan attempts to roll away, Nese follows him step for step.

Lorcan twisting the wrist of Nese, manipulating it as Nese shouts out in pain as the Wrist Lock is tightened by Lorcan. Nese slowly makes his way to the ropes, finally able to hit the ropes, the referee forces Lorcan to break the hold. Lorcan with multiple Chops on Nese. Nese clearly frustrated at this point. Later in the match Lorcan lands a Full Throttle Buster on Nese, then going for the cover.

Lorcan almost takes the victory, Nese kicks out just in time at the two. A Body Slam by Nese onto Lorcan. Both men looking spent at this point. Another Chop by Lorcan. Nese lands a Springboard Moonsault and goes for the cover. This time Lorcan kicks out at the two. Nese hits a Running Nese for the three count and the win!

Winner: Tony Nese
