AEW has already taped most of their upcoming shows on last Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. They produced at least most of the TNT title tournament matches, if not all of them.
They did not allow people from bigger cities to come because they didn’t want anyone from hotspots due to the virus. Tony Khan did offer them an opportunity to stay locally in a hotel instead of going back home so they could be a part of the tapings but it was totally optional. AEW Official Aubrey did take him up on that offer which is why she was there.
AEW will not be taping for a while and are considered shut down at this time until at least May.
WWE is still planning on taping this upcoming Smackdown’s show. The rumored location is in a shutdown state, which means there’s a possibility the taping will not be allowed to happen.
