WWE is currently looking for a new Lead Writer.
WWE has posted online that they were currently looking to fill the position of Lead Writer that Chris DeJoseph was recently released from. This indicates that the WWE is not looking to move up anyone from within the company.
DeJoseph was fired last Friday due to disciplinary actions and was not related to budget cuts. No details have been released on what had happened, but its said that Vince McMahon was irate and fired him. The rumor is that it stems from his behavior during meetings among other reasons.
DeJoseph had just returned to work for WWE back in December. He previously worked WWE creative from 2004-2010, and was used on TV at times as the “Big Dick Johnson” comedy character. He’s also worked for MLW and Lucha Underground.
