WWE issued the following statement announcing that they are looking into the recent abuse accusation made against former NXT cruiserweight champion Jordan Devlin.
We take any allegation of this nature very seriously and are looking into the matter.
The news on Devlin broke earlier today when a woman named Hannah released a series of photos on Twitter revealing bruises all across her body, with claims that Devlin was the cause. You can read more about that here.
Devlin has been stuck in the UK due to the lockdowns caused by COVID-19. He was stripped of his cruiserweight championship, a title that now belongs to Santos Escobar (fka El Hijo del Fantasma) after a round-robin tournament. Devlin took the time to comment on the David Starr abuse allegations, then was called out by Hannah shortly afterwards.
