WWE NXT UK Star Deletes Twitter Account After Sexual Harassment Accusations

WWE NXT UK Superstar Ligero (Simon Musk) has deleted his Twitter account after previously denying allegations of sexual harassment made against him by a UK indie wrestler named Natalie Sykes.

As noted on Friday, Sykes took to Twitter and issued a lengthy statement on how Ligero treated her when they were friends. She started training under the masked wrestler when she was 17. You can click here for full details on her allegations.

Ligero then denied the allegations in a three-part tweet. You can read his statement by clicking here.

In an update, Ligero has now deleted or deactivated his Twitter account. The page previously located at @Ligero1 now says this message: “This account doesn’t exist. Try searching for another.”

As we’ve noted, WWE issued a statement on the various allegations in the “#SpeakingOut” movement on social media. They wrote:

“Individuals are responsible for their own personal actions. WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated.”

There’s no word yet on what might happen to Ligero, but we will keep you updated.
