WWE NXT Viewership and Key Demo Rating for the Post-Deadline Episode

Wednesday’s live post-Deadline edition of WWE NXT drew 666,000 viewers on the USA Network, according to Nielsen via Showbuzz Daily.

This is up 24.72% from last week’s 534,000 viewers for the Deadline go-home show.

Tuesday’s NXT drew a 0.17 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. This is up 30.76% from last week’s 0.13 rating in the key demo. The 0.17 rating represents 222,000 18-49 viewers, which is up 30.59% from the 170,000 18-49 viewers that last week’s 0.13 key demo rating represented, according to Wrestlenomics.

NXT ranked #13 on the Cable Top 150 this week with the 0.17 rating in the 18-49 key demographic. This is up from last week’s #36 ranking on cable.

NXT ranked #52 in viewership on cable this week. This is up from last week’s #81 viewership ranking on cable.

Tuesday’s NXT drew the highest total audience since November 1, and the highest key demo rating since October 18. NXT drew the second-highest key demo rating of the year so far, tied with one other episode, and the twelfth-highest total audience of the year so far. Sports competition last night included two NBA games on TNT, two College Basketball games on ESPN2, one NHL game on ESPN, two Copa por Mexico Soccer games on TUDN, and one FIFA World Cup game on Univierso. This week’s NXT viewership was up 24.72% from last week, while the key demo rating was up 20.76% from last week.

This week’s NXT viewership was up 18.72% from the episode that aired one year ago, while the 18-49 key demo rating was up 21.42% from the show that aired one year ago.

The NBA game between the Celtics and the Lakers on TNT topped the night in the 18-49 demographic on the Cable Top 150 with a 0.61 rating, also drawing 1.704 million viewers. The Five on FOX News topped the night on cable in viewership with 3.331 million viewers, also drawing a 0.18 key demo rating.

FBI on CBS topped the night on broadcast TV in viewership with an average of 7.390 million viewers, also drawing a 0.51 key demo rating. The Voice on NBC topped the night on broadcast TV in the 18-49 key demo with a 0.66 rating, also drawing 6.947 million viewers.

Last night’s post-Deadline edition of NXT was a live episode from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, with the following line-up advertised ahead of time – fallout from Deadline, Grayson Waller and Roxanne Perez appearing in the opening segment to celebrate their Iron Survivor Challenge wins, an appearance by new NXT Tag Team Champions The New Day, the NXT debut of Lyra Valkyria, Von Wagner vs. Odyssey Jones, and Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley vs. Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. The main event ended up being new NXT Women’s Champion Perez defeating Mandy Rose.
