On today’s episode of WWE The Bump it was officially announced that The Miz will no longer be competing in this year’s WrestleMania 36 due to an injury suffered on last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. His scheduled tag title defense with partner John Morrison against The Usos and The New Day will now just be a triple-threat ladder match featuring one man from each team. Those men will be Kofi Kingston, John Morrison, and Jimmy Uso.
As previously reported, The Miz was actually pulled from Mania due to being sick, a chain effect that led to WWE superstar Roman Reigns dropping out of his Univeral title matchup against Bill Goldberg prior to WWE’s scheduled tapings at the Performance Center. Check out The Bump
