WWE on Roman Reigns: “Nobody Here Faults Him”

Fightful recently spoke with an unnamed higher-up in WWE who revealed that while Roman Reigns is in no rush to return, no one in the WWE faults him. WWE staff and wrestlers were given the option to not return to work during the coronavirus pandemic without any punishment and Reigns decided to accept the offer.

Currently, Reigns is participating on the Cameo.com website where he makes over a thousand dollars a day. He  charges $350 dollars per video. Cameo is a website that allows you to pay celebrities to create a unique video for you with a message of your choosing. Some people use it for birthday wishes, baby gender reveals, and holidays.

The employee adds that there is no timetable for Reigns’ return to the WWE and he could be out indefinitely or only two days. There’s no telling. He contributes the birth of his twins as part of the reason he decided to stay him, along with his current health issues. The WWE employee did answer the question about why WWE edited him out of Seth Rollins’ WrestleMania victory over Brock Lesnar and Reigns, but says he doesn’t really have a clue. He could see it as potentially being something you could look into, but its also likely that it was used to focus on Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins as equals. Its worth noting that Reigns has been mentioned many, many times since that promo and WWE likely meant no ill intent when removing him.
