WWE Puts In New Trademark Request For Former WCW PPV Name

WWE applies for yet another trademark.

On July 2nd, WWE filed to trademark the term ‘Superbrawl’ with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. World Championship Wrestling (WCW) previously used Superbrawl as a pay-per-view name prior to going out of business in 2001 and having its entire library bought out by WWE. WWE owned the trademark but abandoned it in 2001.
