WWE RAW Draws Best Viewership In More Than Two Years, Key Demo Rating Up for Post-SummerSlam Show

Monday’s live post-SummerSlam edition of WWE RAW drew an average of 2.230 million viewers on the USA Network, according to Nielsen via Showbuzz Daily.

This is up 17.31% from last week’s 1.901 million viewers for the SummerSlam go-home and Rey Mysterio 20th Anniversary Celebration episode from Madison Square Garden.

For this week’s show, the first hour drew 2.433 million viewers (last week’s hour 1 – 2.019 million), the second hour drew 2.288 million viewers (last week’s hour 2 – 1.974 million) and the final hour drew 1.969 million viewers (last week’s hour 3 – 1.711 million).

Monday’s RAW drew a 0.61 rating in the 18-49 key demographic. This is up 22% from last week’s 0.50 key demo rating. That 0.61 key demo rating represents 796,000 18-49 viewers, which is up 22.84% from the 648,000 18-49 viewers that last week’s 0.50 key demo rating represented, according to Wrestlenomics.

RAW ranked #1 for the night on the Cable Top 150 with the 0.61 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. This is even with last week’s #1 ranking. While RAW topped the night on the Cable Top 150 with the key demo rating, Tucker Carlson Tonight on FOX News topped the night on cable in viewership with an average of 3.198 million viewers, also drawing a 0.24 key demo rating.

RAW ranked #5 for the night in viewership on cable this week, behind Tucker Carlson Tonight, The Five, Jesse Watters Primetime, and Hannity. This is up from last week’s #8 ranking for the night in viewership on cable, and the best RAW viewership ranking in months.

Monday’s RAW drew the highest total audience for the show since March 16, 2020, which was the first RAW without an audience due to COVID-19. RAW also drew the best key demo rating since April 4 of this year, which was the post-WrestleMania 38 show. There was some minor competition from MLB, but no major sports competition for RAW this week. This week’s RAW viewership was up 17.31% from last week’s episode, while this week’s key demo rating was up 22% from last week.

The Bachelorette on ABC drew an average of 3.114 million viewers on broadcast TV at 8pm, while The Neighborhood drew 3.223 million viewers on CBS, American Ninja Warrior drew 2.880 million viewers on NBC, Don’t Forget The Lyrics drew 1.837 million viewers on FOX, CW’s Roswell drew 441,000 viewers, Telemundo’s Casa De Famosos drew 1.631 million viewers, and Univision’s Mexicana Y El Guero drew 854,000 viewers, all in the 8pm hour on broadcast TV. The Bachelorette on ABC drew the best key demo rating of the night on network TV, with a 0.72, while The Neighborhood on CBS drew the best viewership of the night on network TV with 3.223 million viewers.

Monday’s RAW viewership was up 22.46% from the same week in 2021, while the 18-49 key demo rating was up 19.60% from the same week in 2021.

Monday’s post-SummerSlam edition of RAW aired live from the Toyota Center in Houston, TX, and had the following line-up advertised ahead of time – SummerSlam fallout, Ciampa vs. Gable vs. Dolph Ziggler and The Miz vs. AJ Styles vs. Mustafa Ali to determine the new #1 contender to WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley, plus The Mysterios vs. Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos, which was the main event.
