WWE SmackDown Drops Below Two Million Viewers Once Again In Overnight Ratings

According to Showbuzz Daily, last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown drew an average of 1.935 million viewers overnight, a decline of over 10% from last week’s show. They scored a 0.5 in the always important 18-49 demographic, which was tied for #3 for the night.

Overall the program finished 9th on the evening for total viewership, this time falling behind Shark Tank, 20/20, MacGyver, World of Dance, The Wall, Magnum P.I., Blue Bloods, and Dateline NBC. Blue Bloods won the night with 4.2 million viewers.

The show build up the Braun Strowman Universal title defense at Backlash against The Miz and John Morrison, and saw Bayley and Sasha Banks capture the WWE women’s tag team titles for the second time.
