AEW superstar and former world champion Chris Jericho now has official ownership of all of his trademarks from WWE according to PW Insider. The report mentions that the agreement between the two sides was made back on June 1st, but the official transfer took place this month.
Details of Jericho’s trademark only include him getting his name, but any intellectual property that was created by either Jericho or WWE during his time there will remain with WWE. Insider states for example that the moniker Y2J is still owned by WWE, but names like “Lionheart” have returned to Jericho.
During his time in AEW Jericho has trademarked phrases like “A little Bit of the Bubbly,” “Le Champion,” and “Demo God.”
