New Report On Rob Gronkowski Being Terrified Of WrestleMania 36 Dive, Was Demonstrated By Vince McMahon

NFL superstar Rob Gronkowski won the WWE 24/7 championship on night two of WrestleMania 36 following an epic dive from the top of the set in the Performance Center onto former champ and friend Mojo Rawley.

According to Fightful, Gronkowski was terrified of performing the spot, so much so that it took a demonstration by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon to convince him otherwise. Reports are that McMahon completed the spot for Gronkowski, then spoke to the now Tight End of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers stating “Not so bad is it?” The story has since been confirmed by many backstage officials in WWE.

Raw women’s champion Becky Lynch revealed in a recent interview with TV Guide that McMahon had demonstrated a fall, a statement many assumed was linked to last night’s Money In The Bank pay per view.

Even after McMahon did the fall…Gronkowski was reportedly still nervous, even with the large number of NXT talents to catch him. In the end he obviously completed the spot, with an assist to the WWE camera crews for filming the angle at a low-point.
