Based on what went down during last night’s WWE RAW, it’s believed that Bobby Lashley vs. WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will be happening soon.
There’s no word yet on Drew’s challenger for WWE Backlash on June 14, but it was speculated on Wrestling Observer Radio that Lashley vs. McIntyre may happen as soon as that pay-per-view.
McIntyre retained over Seth Rollins at WWE Money In the Bank on Sunday, and on last night’s RAW it looked as if their feud is over, or at least on hold.
As noted, MVP continued to move forward with recruiting Lashley to his stable on last night’s RAW. Part of that was MVP talking Lashley up as a contender for the WWE Title, pointing out how many years it’s been since he was going for the top title in the company.
