Match #1. Ring of Honor World TV Championship: Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Lee Johnson
Both men exchange chops and Fletcher pops up Johnson to a swing out uranage for two. Hard chops by Fletcher, who is dressed as Kishin Ligher here, tonight. Johnson fires back some chops of his own but Fletcher depletes him with a running back elbow to the back. Running chops by Johnsom from corner to corner before dumping Fletcher up and over the top and to the floor. Tope con hilo by Fletcher over the top! Outside the ring and Fletcher regains control and brainbusters Johnson on the guardrail! Running cannonball over the guardrail by Fletcher takes out Johnson in the front row! Back inside the ring, a double underhook into a reverse DDT-like maneuver by Fletcher gets two. Johnson fights back with chops and a diving neckbreaker. PK by Johnson and a standing moonsault gets two. Johnson looks for a suplex but Fletcher counters into a brainbuster for another two count. Fletcher misses a clothesline and Johnson plants him with a Blue Thunder Bomb. Two count. Superkick by Fletcher who hops up top but eats an enziguiri from Johnson. Fletcher counters with an avalanche Michinoku Driver! One, two, no! Fletcher wants the piledriver but Johnson widens his base before countering with a hurricanrana driver! Two count. Palm strikes by Johnson and Fletcher is down! Johnson heads up top but Fletcher crotches him. Brainbuster by Fletcher! Sit-out Last Ride by Fletcher! One, two, no! Fletcher just laying in some roundhouse kicks to the body and Johnson catches one and fires back some forearms. Fletcher returns fire with an elbow of his own before heading out to the apron and looking for a tombstone, but Johnson gets free and it’s the Big Shot Drop on the HARDEST PART OF THE RING. Both men barely make it in before the twenty count and trade hard shots in the center. Half-and-half suplex by Fletcher! Poisonrana by Johnson! Running leg lariat by Fletcher and a tombstone but he only gets two! Fletcher puts Johnson on the top rope but Johnson adjusts his weight… SUPER SHOTTY DESTROYER! FROG SPLASH! A SECOND FROG SPLASH! 2.99999! Lawndart by Fletcher! Running leg lariat in the corner! TOP ROPE TURNBUCKLE BRAINBUSTER! ONE, TWO, THREE!

Rating: ****1/2. IT’S RAINING STARS IN HERE LIKE SALT BAE. Star-marking performance by Lee Johnson and Kyle Fletcher is right up there with guys like Takshita and Ospreay, who can take over the industry for the next decade plus.
Match #2. Stardom Trios Match: Tam Nakano, AZM, Saya Kamitani vs. Maika, Mina Shirakawa, Mei Seira
I’m going to do my absolute best here. AZM and Mei to start. Both women ducks clotheslines, miss dropkicks, and kip up at the same time. Stalemate. AZM extends the hand and then tries to go low, but Mei delivers an elbow. Tam elbows Mei from the outside and AZM comes back with a shotgun dropkick. Running back elbow by Tam and a PK. Tam drops Mei with a rolling elbow. Tam wants a Michinoku Driver but Mei counters with a superkick before making the tag to Maika. Running clothesline in the corner and a shoulder block by Maika. Double suplex by Maika! AZM gets the tag and drills Maika with a shotgun dropkick. Two count. Triple team big boots in the corner to Meika. Around the world Gargano Escape by AZM but Mina breaks it up. AZM goes up top but misses a double stomp. Code Breaker by Mei and a twisting splash over the back of Mei. Fall away slam by Maika but AZM responds with a big boot and both women are down. Mina and Saya get the tag. Low dropkick by Saya and a knee buster on the mat. Saya works over the knee of Mina. Saya comes off the ropes with a spinning wheel kick and Tam and AZM with a stereo PK. Northern Light’s Suplex by Sayagets two. Maika sends Tam to the floor but a dropkick by Mei changes the tide. Double Team facebuster by Maiak and Mina. Electric Chair into a spinning facebuster by Mina and a figure four but AZM breaks it up with a double stomp to the stomach. Double headkicks by AZM and Tam. Tam goes up top and takes out everyone on the floor with a huge diving crossbody! Saya with a springboard facebuster from the apron gets two. High angle tear drop suplex by Saya gets a two! Mina up and hits a huge backfist. One, two, thr–no! Hurricanrana by Mina gets a two. Majistral cradle by Mina gets two as Tam and AZM break it up. Double lariat by Maika. Running bicycle kick by Saya but Mina gets right up! Enziguiri! Two count. Leg trapped 1914 by Mina gets the win!
Winners: Maika, Mina Shirakawa, and Mei Seria
Rating: ***1/4. Yeah, this is what you’d expect from Stardom. It was awesome for the time it got. Only being familiar with two of the women made it a bit difficult to follow, but the commentators did a great job helping out. Would love to see more Stardom in AEW and ROH.

Match #3. ROH World Tag Team Championship: The Kingdom (c) vs. The Infantry
Kick of the King sends Bravo to the outside and the bell finally rings. Rolling elbow by Bennett and a missile dropkick to Dean gets two. Dean fights his way up but Bennett gets the better of the exchanges. I take that back. Bennett finally goes down. Running diving HOORAH elbow by Dean. Two count. Irish whip in the corner and a running boot by Bravo. Dean dumps Bennett and Bravo holds both Kingdom members for a tope con hilo by Dean! Bennett dumps Bravo on the far side on the ramp but gets clotheslines by Dean. Bennett with a big dive that takes out everyone and then front suplexes Bravo on the guardrail. Back body drop by Dean to Bennett. Taven sets up a table on the outside off the ramp but on the ramp it’s a Spike Piledriver to Dean! I think the count is probably at 50 or 60 now, by the way. Pop-up Boston Bayonet by The Kingdom inside the ring gets two. Hard chops by Bennett and in comes Taven with a big clothesline. Bennett back in now and covers for two. Bravo sends Taven to the outside and then low bridges Bennett. Taven makes the save but eats an enziguiri and Dean gets the tag. Dropkick to Taven and a discus lariat to Taven. Elbows to Bennett and a double underhook backbreaker for two. Fireman’s carry into a stunner by Bravo and a German suplex by Dean. Two count. Bootcamp attempt but Taven pulls Bravo out. Spiccoli Driver by Bennett and Just the Tip by Taven! Dean is out at two. Proton Pack by The Kingdom but Bravo breaks up the pin at two. Crossover by Bravo but a spinning heel kick by Taven. Taven wants the lionsault but Dean gets the knees up. Superkick party in in the center and a neckbreaker by Bravo. Bootcamp to Taven but Taven breaks it up! Rolling elbow by Bennett. Everyone is out on the ramp now and The Infantry hit Modern Warfare on the ramp! Climax to Dean on the ramp! Bravo bounces Taven’s head off the table and the steps, and the steps, and the steps again, before laying Taven on the table. Running splash off the ramp by Bravo puts Taven through the table. Dean is inside the ring and Bennett is down. The Salute by Dean but there’s no referee. Here’s Wardlow with a lariat behind the referee’s back! Bennett covers for the win.
Winners and STILL Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions: The Kingdom
Rating: ***1/2. By far the best match of The Infantry’s career, and The Kingdom continue to be underrated. Cool to see Wardlow make an appearance but this was some good tag team wrestling here.
Match #4. Ring of Honor Women’s TV Championship Finals: Billie Starkz vs. Queen Aminata
Sunset flip by Starkz get a one count. Aminata reverses a suplex into a cradle for two. Snap suplex by Aminata. Starkz is resting on the bottom rope and Aminata lays in a BRUTAL running boot to the face. On the outside now, Starkz eats a few chops up against the guardrail. Both women back inside the ring and Aminata looks for a rear naked choke before using her legs to turn it into a neck crank. Another snap suplex by Aminata. Aminata misses a running hip attack and Starkz rebounds with a knee to the midsection and an STO. Back elbow by Starkz but Aminata dumps her with a snap German suplex. Powerdrive Knee by Aminata gets another long two. Starkz fires up some elbows but Aminata ducks a clothesline and plants Starkz with a Complete Shot. Starkz avoids an Air Raid Crash and hits a back elbow. Backbreaker on the knee and a low uranage for two. Aminata reverses a Gory Bomb into a backslide for two. Twisting Ushigaroshi by Starkz! Two count. Electric Chair by Starkz but both women trade victory rolls for two. Spinning neckbreaker by Aminata! Two count. Clothesline by Aminata and both women are down. Both women trade hard elbows here and the crowd is behind Aminata. Starkz misses a running big boot in the corner and Aminata kicks out the leg. Aminata charges now but Starkz hits a high kick. Drop toe hold across the middle rope and Aminata misses a second low dropkick on the ropes. Suicide dive by Starkz on the floor! Starkz lays Aminata on the apron and dives off the middle rope with a somersault senton, only to catch the hard apron! Starkz is down on the outside now and Aminata comes off the apron with a diving double stomp! German suplex on the floor by Aminata! Aminata goes up top and hits the Swanton Bomb! Starkz kicks out at one! Air Raid Crash by Aminata but Starkz somehow gets out just before the three! Running hip attack in the corner and a huge running boot! Both head up to the top rope now and Starkz kicks Aminata off. Starkz comes off the top with a Swanton of her own but Amianta gets the knees up. Immediately Starkz clutches the neck and they bring the doctor in, as the arena chants for Billie. The camera shifts to the announcers here as Aminata watches on from the other side of the ring. Doc Sampson is in there now and they’re helping Starkz up, the fingers are moving, and they have a brace on the neck. Aminata holds the ropes for Starkz but she grabs her from behind and German suplexes her! The crowd erupts! Starkz locks the rear naked choke in and Aminata goes out!
Winner and NEW Ring of Honor Women’s World TV Champion: Billie Starkz
Rating: ***3/4. Man oh man, two very young women, similarly to Fletcher/Johnson, who can hold down the business for the next ten years or more. The story here was that Billie was taking a beating and couldn’t be put down, so she resorted to some dastardly and devious tactics.
The Bang Bang Gang are here, and they’re fighting champions. Open challenge, baybay. Monster Sauce is here! Lance Archer and Alex Zayne. Wait, they need one more guy, don’t they?

Match #5. AEW Trios Championships: Bang Bang Gang vs. Larcher Archer, Alex Zayne, & Minoru Suzuki
Suzuki and Jay White to start. White ducks outside early and hides behind the announcer’s table, before coming back in the ring and tagging Austin. Austin calls Suzuki Grandpa and Suzuki calls him an “ass boy.” Amazing. Archer and Colten in now and Archer tosses him 3/4 of the way across the ring. Colten ducks an avalanche and hits a running splash of his own. Huge vertical suplex by Archer. Zayne gets the tag and goes up and over Archer with a shotgun dropkick in the corner. Dropkick by Colten and Austin gets the tag. Quick tags now by BBG as White lays in some heavy chops on Zayne and it’s chin lock city, baby. Jaw breaker by Zayne and Archer gets the tag. Archer depletes everyone. Ripcord spinning uranage to Austin. Cross body to Colten. Stereo back elbows and Archer hip tosses his partner into Colten. Archer chokeslams Zayne on top of Austin! With a back flip, that is. Suzuki attachks White on the outside as Archer looks for The Blackout. Austin gets free and chop blocks Archer. Suzuki in now and he lays into Jay White with body shots on the ropes as White fires back with a hard chops. YOUNG BOY says Suzuki and he lays out everyone. Running boot in the corner by Suzuki. Running PK! Two count. White digs a thumb in the eye of Suzuki. Choke by Suzuki but White counters with a snap mare. Dragon screw leg whip to Suzuki but Zayne gets the tag and clotheslines White. Running European uppercut in the corner by Zayne and White flips him off the top rope. Running front flip into a huricanraa off the top by Zayne! Sidewalk slam position into a driver (wtf?) by Zayne! Two count. Zayne goes up top but lands on his feet. High angle uranage by White! White wants Bladerunner but Suzuki gets the choke from behind. Ass Boys throw Suzuki into the guardrail. Chokeslam to White! 3:10 to Yuma by Ass Boys! Shotgun dropkick by Zayne to the Ass Boys but Bladerunner out of nowhere by White!
Winner and STILL Six-Man Tag Team Champions: Bullet Club Gold
Rating: ***1/2. For an impromptu out of nowhere match, this ruled. Fans, deservedly so, LOVE Suzuki. Suzuki brought a lot to this match and Zayne also got a chance to shine, which may be a sign for the future.
After the match, The Acclaimed attack and Bowens gets laid out with the Bladerunner.

Match #7. Ring of Honor Women’s World Championship: Athena (c) vs. Hikaru Shida
Athena ducks outside a few times before we really get started here. Athena avoids a question mark kick and a running knee strike very early on in this one. Athena rolls outside and regroups once again and offers the hand, but Shida blocks the strikes and tries for a neckbreaker, but Athena escapes. Shida maintains wrist control and hits a pair of suplexes. Tila a whirl backbreaker by Shida and mounted punches in the corner. Pillar to pose here with more punches from Shida. Athena throws Shida from the top but the leg gets trapped and Athena focuses the attack on the injured leg. Knees to the knee by Athena and a standing leg lace, but Shida sends Athena into the ropes face-first. Running elbow strike by Shida and a half Falcon Arrow only gets two. Shida charges in the corner with a knee to the face, but Shida’s knee is hurting. Running dropkick by Shida. Running knee on the outside by Shida sends Athena into the announcer’s table, neck-first. Two count back inside the ring. Question mark kick by Shida and Athena is rocked. Shida beats Athena down with knees but Athena stomps the knee and delivers headbutts. Saito suplex by Athena and a low-angle wheelbarrow suplex! Two. O-Face by Athena but Shida holds on and sends Athena into the ropes! Athena blocks the Kitana and rolls through for an ankle lock. Athena wants to snap it as Shida fights to the ropes. Shida with a pair of double knees on the apron and both women are fighting through injuries here. Powerbomb into the double knees to the face by Athena but Shida is out at one! Athena floats over a charging elbow and has a double underhook swinging submission. Shida counters with the Falcon Arrow. One count! Hurricanrana by Shida but Athena floats through and picks up Shida in a deadlift, walks over to the ropes, both women fall to the apron and Athena holds on again and deposits Shida on the floor! Athena measures Shida for the O-Face back inside the ring and nails it! One, two,–no! Shida fights back and hits the Kitana out of nowhere! Long two count and Shida exposes the knee, but Athena catches it! Right hand. Right hand by Shida and a straitjacket German suplex. Lariat by Shida! Kip up by Athena and a superkick! Rolling elbow and Athena goes up again… O-Face! One, two, three!

Rating: ****. What can ya say, here? These two women ore the house down as ancipaited. Who’s going to be the one to remove the title from Athena? I have no idea, but this was as close as anyone has gotten. Athena has done amazing things for this title.

Match #8. Ring of Honor World Heavyweight Championship: Eddie Kinston (c) vs. Mark Briscoe
Both men exchange strikes to start. Trading wrist locks and head lock takeovers. Mark charges Eddie and gets caught with a high angle back drop driver. Eddie charges in the corner and Mark escapes to the apron with some Red Neck Kung Fu. Spicy dropkick by Mark as he follows up with a cannonball suicide dive! Mark throws a chair in the ring and opens it up to jump off of, but Eddie slides in and chokeslams Mark on the open chair! Both men roll to the outside and Eddie hits a huge lariat on the outside, before bouncing Mark’s head off the announcer’s table. Mark’s busted open and there’s blood everywhere! Eddie with sharp right hands to the cut of Mark and Mark comes back with some heft chops. The referee checks the cut and we’re allowed to continue, as Eddie rips at the forehead. Forever chops in the corner by Eddie but Mark fires back! Eddie’s reeling but we’re going corner to corner chopping wood! Double underhook suplex by Eddie and Mark’s face is a bloody mess. Lariat by Eddie and some chops to a seated Mark Briscoe. Eddie dumps Mark to the outside and looks for a dive, but Mark counters with an uppercut and lays into Eddie outside the ring. Eddie takes a seat in the corner of the guardrail area and Mark delives a huge shotgun dropkick. Mark breaks the count (ya love to see it) and suplexes Eddie on the floor! Cactus Elbow off the apron! Eddie gets pulled up but sends Mark head-first into the ring post. Back inside the ring and an elbow by Eddie connects for two. Eddie with straight right hands to a bloodied Mark Briscoe as the mat is now stained. Eddie wants a piledriver but Mark widens his base and delivers a big clothesline. Both guys are trading chops in the center of the ring and the blood and sweat is flying. Backfist by Eddie but Red Neck Kung Fu by Mark and a flying elbow! Running boot in the corner by Mark and a huge clothesline. Fisherman’s Buster by Mark! Two count. Eddie rolls to the outside and Mark follows up with a Blockbuster off the apron! Mark misses the Froggy Bow but Eddie walks into the Spiccoli Driver. Froggy Bow connects! One, two, thr-NO! 2.99999! Mark throws Eddie but they trade FOUR t-bone suplexes and a double clothesline in the center of the ring. Everyone is down! Both men fight to the apron and jockey for position. T-bone suplex by Eddie off the apron to the floor and both men land HARD. Eddie gets back in to the ring by 18 and Mark doesn’t, wait, BARELY in by 20! The crowd is electric right now and thought that was it. Both guys trade right hands from their knees in the center of the ring. Chops from Mark. Chops from Eddie. Overhands and backhands from Mark before hitting the ropes with a lariat. Mark is up and he calls for the JayDriller. but Eddie ducks under with a half-and-half suplex! Backfist by Eddie and that gets a long two! “Man up” chants ring throughout the arena. Mark ducks a sliding lariat and a rolling elbow a la Jay drops Eddie! Mark wants the JayDriller but Eddie back body drops him. Backfist by Eddie and an enziguiri by Mark! Eddie tries for the Northern Light’s Bomb but Mark escapes out the back and his the Cut Throat Driver! NO! Eddie kicks out! Mark wants the JayDriller! HE HITS IT. ONE. TWO. THREE. MARK DID IT!

Rating: *****. Take all my stars. Two of my favorite wrestlers on the planet fighting for a reason, with a great story, who fought tooth and nail the entire way through and made everything feel like a struggle. Everything I want in a Ring of Honor world title match. Just incredible.
STREAMERS HIT THE RING! PAPA BRISCOE IS HERE AND HERE’S THE ENTIRE RING OF HONOR LOCKERROOM HEADED BY JAY LETHAL, AS WELL AS THE BRISCOE FAMILY!
Just an unbelievable moment as Jay Lethal and Tony Deppen put Mark Briscoe on their shoulders and there isn’t a dry eye in the house. Briscoe asks the guys to step back so he can have a moment with Eddie. Mark and Eddie embrace as Eddie bails and gives Mark his moment.
Final Thoughts: A very entertaining, consistent, buffet of pro wrestling tonight. Fletcher and Johnson set the tone with an unbelievable opening match and ROH never took their foot off the gas. The Stardom six-person tag was a breath of fresh air, Aminata and Starkz showcased the future of the ROH women’s division while Athena and Shida showed us why that division is so strong right now. Fun surprises from the Bang Bang Gang and Suzuki, as well as a Wardlow appearance. Lastly, the main event was a classic, old school, brutal, Danielson/Morishima-esque fight that had all of the emotion considering the circumstances. 9.25/10.
