Eddie Kingston has won the NJPW Open Weight Title and will be entering the G1, which means he can not compete at Death Before Dishonor. Kingston taps Mark Briscoe to replace him.

Renee is with Briscoe, who says he always thought the ROH TV Title was his legacy, but now that he has a shot at the world title, he will follow in his brother’s footsteps. Claudio Castagnoli shows up and cuts a great promo, putting over The Briscoes but saying the Mark that he knew wouldn’t walk in his brother’s footsteps, he would carve his own.

Winner: Brian Cage

Rating: **1/2. I mean, this was just everyone getting their stuff in without much rhyme or reason, but it was entertaining. Cage, however, feels more important in ROH than he did in AEW so they’re heading in the right direction.

Match #10. Six-person Tag Team Match: Trish Adora & The Infantry vs. The Kingdom

Maria tells us that she’s unfortunately not medically cleared, but she has a legit replacement… “Legit” Leyla Hirsch. Dean and Bennett trade chops to start and Dean hits a pair of arm drags. Double team assisted Rock Bottom by The Infantry. Taven gets dumped to the outside but Bennett superkicks everyone and tags Hirsh. Adora sends Bennett to the outside with a clothesline as Dean hits a big dive on Bennett to the floor. Taven inside with Bravo and catches him with a Kick of the King. Flight of the Conqueror by Taven takes out everyone on the floor. Adora uses the Fujiwara arm bar to ground Hirsch but Maria gets on the apron and drops Adora arm-first on the top rope. Hirsch is there with a Judo hip toss and a straight armbar for the tap.

Winners: The Kingdom

Rating: **3/4. The Infantry are getting better week to week and I’d chalk that up to working with The Kingdom so much, who are great.

Final Thoughts: Awesome average episode of Ring of Honor TV. Really what we’ve come to expect from the show, with a ton of matches, none of them this week very long, and now of them really stood above the others. We’re missing the hype leading into Death Before Dishonor, with one match announced and two weeks to go. 6/10.
