Lio Rush has massive praise for the IMPACT Wrestling locker room.
The Man of the Hour covered this topic during a recent interview on the Battleground podcast, where he hyped up his showdown with Chris Sabin for the X-Division Championship at this Saturday’s Slammiversary pay-per-view. Rush begins by explaining the incredible energy that radiates from the roster and how happy he is to be a part of it.
Well now that I’m actually in the locker room and I’ve been in the IMPACT zone a couple of times now, I definitely feel the energy. The energy is a lot different and I feel like the energy is different coming off of the actual wrestlers.
Rush later discusses the hunger that each member of the IMPACT locker room feels, adding that he believes this is the place to be in pro-wrestling.
There are a lot of people there that are hungry in a different way, you hear the term hungry in wrestling a lot, but I definitely feel like they’ve got something to prove, all of those guys and girls are superstars and they know it, which they should. This is the place to be, this is why I’m here. I’m not gonna waste my time, IMPACT is the place to be and I’m glad to be here.
The 2023 Impact Slammiversary pay-per-view will take place on Saturday, July 15 from the St. Clair College Sportsplex in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. You can check out the latest card here.
