The following WWE releases were made this evening, according to PWInsider:
* Dana Brooke. Brooke signed with WWE in July 2013 to work WWE NXT, and was called up to the main roster in May 2016. She returned to NXT in June of this year and has been working a storyline with newcomer Kelani Jordan. Her last match was a loss to Lyra Valkyria on the September 12 NXT episode. Brooke held the WWE 24/7 Title at least 15 times.
* Mansoor. Mansoor signed with WWE after being scouted ahead of and featured at the Greatest Royal Rumble event from Saudi Arabia in April 2018. He was then signed to continue training at the WWE Performance Center and work NXT. He would be featured on WWE shows in Saudi Arabia, while also working NXT, Main Event and 205 Live, and then came to RAW in May 2021 but that also brought the end of his 49-match winning streak. Mansoor was most recently featured in the Maximum Male Models with Mace. His last match was a Battle Royal on the May 15 RAW, and before that he and Mace lost to Alpha Academy at a WWE live event in Paris on April 29. Besides the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on March 31, Mansoor’s last TV appearances saw he and Mace lose to The O.C. on the March 9 Main Event episode, and lose to The LWO on the January 20 SmackDown.
* Mace. The same last few matches for Mansoor also applies to Mace. He was signed by WWE in August 2016, and eventually did commentary on 205 Live and RAW. He was sent back to NXT after around five months on RAW commentary, and eventually returned with the RETRIBUTION stable, and was then put in Maximum Male Models in April 2022.
* Quincy Elliott. Elliott was signed after working WWE’s Las Vegas tryouts during SummerSlam Weekend in 2021. He appeared in various segments as an extra on NXT TV, then debuted on NXT Level Up with a loss to Joe Gacy on March 25, 2022. Elliot made around two dozen in-ring appearances after that on TV and at non-televised live events. His last match was a loss to Ikemen Jiro at the non-televised live event on August 19 in Tampa, while his last TV appearance came on the July 21 NXT Level Up show as he and Jiro came up short against Hank Walker and Tank Ledger.
As noted, WWE also released the following Superstars today – Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali, Elias, Shelton Benjamin, Rick Boogs, Riddick Moss, Emma, Aliyah, and “Top Dolla” AJ Francis.
