It looks like there is going to be more than one big “Bidding War Of ’24.”
Not only will MJF be a hot commodity, but PWInsider Elite is reporting that Will Ospreay is gearing up for a big bidding war among the top pro wrestling promotions.
The current New Japan Pro Wrestling contract for “The Aerial Assassin” is scheduled to expire in February of 2024, and the decorated international pro wrestling star has reportedly obtained the services of a top agent ahead of his next contract negotiation.
According to the aforementioned report, Ospreay has hired Barry Bloom to represent him in the negotiations for his next wrestling contract, which is expected to generate bids from the likes of NJPW, IMPACT Wrestling and AEW, all of whom he has worked for in recent weeks / months.
Bloom is a legendary agent inside and outside of the wrestling business. In the wrestling industry, he has negotiated big time contracts for the likes of Jesse Ventura, Sean Waltman, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and The Young Bucks.
Additionally, it is believed that Ospreay is definitely on WWE’s radar at this point as well, and they could also have a hand in bidding for the services of the sought after talent.
