WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page has released a video update on long-time friend Jake “The Snake” Roberts, who has been quarantining with Page from the COVID-19 pandemic. Roberts began staying with Page after a tweet saying that he was isolated by himself and was envious of those who had people around, but that he had remained sober. Page saw the message and immediately invited his friend to stay with him.
In the update…Page discusses some of the early precautions he took towards preparing for the viral outbreak, something his daughter admits was a good idea after the national emergency was declared. He talks about having to shut down his DDPYoga gym in Georgia as an affect of the state lockdown.
Page later tells the camera that if Roberts decides to leave on the road to continue working for AEW he is not allowed back until the pandemic dies down a bit, citing the baby and his health as a reason. He does commend the master of the DDT for the fantastic job he had been doing as the manager for Lance Archer.
Meanwhile Roberts expresses how grateful he is to Page for once again taking him in, but does fear losing momentum with AEW by missing out on action. He does eventually pack his bags and hit the road to resume taping with the company. Check it out below.
