The main event for the final All Elite Wrestling pay-per-view of 2024 appears to be set.
During the special “Winter is Coming” themed episode of AEW Dynamite on December 11 at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, MO., Jon Moxley issued a challenge for a big title defense at AEW Worlds End 2024.
Moxley issued a challenge while cutting a promo in a backstage segment that suggested a Fatal-4-Way match with his AEW World Championship on-the-line at the final AEW PPV show of the year.
While “The Death Rider” never mentioned anyone specifically by name, it was assumed that he was referencing the three men he had just brawled with minutes earlier on the 12/11 show — Hangman Page, Jay White and Orange Cassidy.
In fact, Excalibur mentioned those three names specifically while recapping Mox’s challenge on commentary.
AEW Worlds End 2024 is scheduled to emanate from the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida on December 28.
