The Grizzled Young Veterans Promo
The #GrizzledYoungVeterans just want to make the people happy and win the #TagTeamTitles BACK. #NXTUK pic.twitter.com/JO34xaX4Y1

Zack Gibson: I am Liverpool’s number one, Zack Gibson. This man right here is James Drake. Together we are Grizzled Young Veterans. Now, we should be standing here today as the NXT UK Tag Team Champions. The only reason why we are not is because of a daft stipulation that was added to our match at TakeOver Cardiff by Johnny Saint and Sid Scala. A stipulation that cost us our titles. We are a great tag team and great tag teams are more than capable of bouncing back. We are more than capable of bouncing back. A couple of weeks ago we had Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews beat. We were closing in on a victory that would have cemented our spot as the number one contenders to the tag titles.
That is, until Gallus and Imperium stuck their nose where it doesn’t belong and the match was thrown out. Now what I want to know is what are the consequences to their actions? What are the reprimands for these two teams? What is the punishment? Have they been fined or suspended? No! Absolutely nothing happen to Gallus or Imperium. So Johnny Saint and Sid Scala, you need to listen to the top tag team in this division. When The Grizzled Young Veterans were champions, we were on our way to making those titles the most prestigious titles anywhere in the WWE. And every single day that those titles aren’t around our waist, they depreciate in value. Johnny, outside at the stadium, there is a statue of of the great Bill Shankly.
Written on that statue is, “He made the people happy.” And that is all we are trying to do. We just want to make the people happy. Takeover Blackpool is right around the corner and I am begging you, pleading with you Johnny, to make this right. Give us the tag title opportunity that we deserve. Make the people happy. Mr. Saint, you need us at TakeOver. You need us in the tag team title match so that once again, just like every TakeOver we’ve performed at, the whole world will be talking about the NXT UK Tag Team Titles. The whole world will be talking about the first ever two-time tag team champions, The Grizzled Young Veterans.
