The Patriarchy hit the ring with chairs and lay everyone out. Hairspray to the face of Juice. Wayne’s World on the floor to Austin. Christian spears the knees out of Matthews and then hits him on the inside of the knee. Chokeslam to Colten on an unfolded chair. Killswitch to Black on a chair! Absolutely genius stuff by The Patriarchy.
Final Thoughts: Kind of an all over the place episode tonight, but not in a bad.. way? Does that make sense? Feels like AEW threw a lot at us but we had some time to digest it, so it accomplished a lot in the lead up to All In. Danielson’s sit down with Jim Ross was very well done and added yet another layer to the main event of AEW’s biggest PPV, especially after Swerve’s “tune-up” match with Ishii. The main event was awesome as you’d expect, as well the follow up angle. There was a lot to like about tonight’s show. 8.25/10.Â
