As we reported, WWE taped an injury angle that saw Nia Jax take out Charlotte Flair. The segment was written as a way to explain Charlotte’s absence from television.
Meltzer notes that Charlotte is out of action due to an upcoming surgery. She’s expected to be out of action for a couple months and a return for SummerSlam in August isn’t out of the question. As of right now, the specifics of the surgery are not known.
