IMPACT Wrestling has announced a new matchup for their July 18th Slammiversary pay per view. World champion Tessa Blanchard will defend the title in a fatal-five way matchup against challengers Eddie Edwards, Michael Elgin, Trey from The Rascalz, and former X-Division champion Ace Austin.
Blanchard was originally set to defend the gold against Elgin and Edwards back in April, but travel complications due to the COVID-19 pandemic made that impossible. Head of IMPACT Scott D’Amore was the one who revealed the bout on tonight’s episode.
