– The 2019 WWE Fastlane Kickoff pre-show opens up as Jonathan Coachman welcomes us. We see fans outside of The Q Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. We go in to Coach and he’s joined by Sam Roberts, David Otunga and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix on the panel. Beth reveals she will be doing guest commentary for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles match tonight. The panel goes over tonight’s card.
We get a lengthy video package for Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch. Beth says she could see this being Becky’s night. They talk more about the match and then the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Bayley. The IIconics, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, interrupt the panel with mics. They taunt the champions and Coach says it seems like they came out to call out the champions, whoever has the titles after tonight, and they agree. Coach asks them for a prediction and they go with Banks and Bayley over Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka. Coach says that would be the best winner for them and they argue some with Coach before leaving. The panel discusses Mandy Rose vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka next. We go backstage to Kayla Braxton with Rose and Sonya Deville now. They briefly discuss Asuka before EC3 interrupts and says Rose’s name. EC3 tries to flirt with Rose but Deville steps up and shuts him down. Deville takes shots at him and says Rose has her eye on the prize tonight but that prize is not him. EC3 walks off. We see video from earlier today where Carmella was backstage trying to get signatures from people to get a rematch for R-Truth. Carmella ends up arguing with Zelina Vega about the next title shot. WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe interrupts and tells them he will be happy to put Truth, Andrade and anyone else to sleep. Joe signs Carmella’s sheet and walks off. Coach confirms a Fatal 4 Way for tonight with Joe vs. Truth vs. Andrade vs. Rey Mysterio. We get more on tonight’s matches before Christian joins the panel. He jokes around with Otunga and they talk about tonight’s match with The Miz and Shane McMahon vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos, and how the chemistry between Miz and Shane is a bit forced compared to The Usos.
Coach leads us to a backstage video from Ricochet and Aleister Black, who are confident about capturing the RAW Tag Team Titles tonight. We get a lengthy video package on recent events between Kofi Kingston, Kevin Owens and WWE Champion Daniel Bryan. AJ Styles joins the panel and talks about what’s went down as of late. AJ also addresses Randy Orton and says he will take care of him when the time is right. Coach sends us to Kayla and Owens in the back. Owens talks about Bryan and gets a pop for talking about beating him in the face like everyone has wanted to do for months. The New Day’s Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods appear. Fans chant for Kofi in the arena. Kofi says he doesn’t have a problem with Owens and he wishes him good luck tonight. Owens says that means a lot to him and he thanks Kofi. They shake hands. Owens wishes good luck to Big E and Woods for their match, and he walks off. Kofi gets The New Day hyped up for their match when a staffer appears. He says the McMahon Family wants to talk to Kofi in their office, about the WWE Title match. Big E and Woods get Kofi hyped up and they go their separate ways. We go to the panel and they send us to ringside for the first match of the night.
Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Xavier Woods and Big E
We go to the ring and Tom Phillips welcomes us. He’s joined by Corey Graves and Byron Saxton. Shinsuke Nakamura makes his way out first. Rusev is out next with Lana as Greg Hamilton does the introductions. Out next comes The New Day – Big E and Xavier Woods.
Woods starts off with Nakamura and they go at it. Nakamura takes Woods to the corner and works him over. Woods comes back and takes Nakamura down for a 2 count. Nakamura ends up leveling Woods with a big kick and Rusev tags in as we take a quick break. We come back and Rusev is in control of Woods as Big E waits for the tag. Rusev with a bear hug to Woods now. Woods fights back and out but Nakamura comes in and drops him with a big kick for a 2 count. We cut to a backstage sidebar video of The Miz and his dad backstage. George is looking forward to seeing Miz and Shane McMahon bring the titles home. Miz says their match is opening the pay-per-view, so dad better get out to the front row. Shane comes in and gets everyone hyped up. We go back to the ring and Nakamura has Woods grounded.
Woods fights up and out but Nakamura knees him and takes him to the corner. Rusev tags in and places Woods on the top turnbuckle, then rocks him a few times. Rusev climbs up for a superplex but Woods resists. Woods headbutts Rusev to the mat. Woods follows up with a missile dropkick. Big E rallies the crowd now as they chant for The New Day.
Big E and Nakamura tag in at the same time. Big E with a pair of belly-to-belly suplexes, then a third. Big E dances over Nakamura and then hits the running splash. Big E waits for Nakamura to get up and goes for the Big Ending but Nakamura counters for a guillotine choke. Big E powers up and tosses Nakamura across the ring. Nakamura rolls to the apron. Big E runs the ropes for a Spear but Nakamura stops him with a knee. Nakamura with kicks to the chest from the apron now. Nakamura drops Big E over the middle rope and kicks him in the back of the neck.
Nakamura goes to the middle rope and hits a knee strike for a 2 count. Woods tags in as Rusev gets dropped. Nakamura drops Big E. Woods comes in with a big tornado DDT on Nakamura. Rusev drops Woods with a kick to the back of the neck. Rusev covers Woods for a close 2 count. Rusev drags Woods to the corner and takes him to the top for right hands. Woods fights back as Rusev tries to climb up. Woods leaps off and rolls through. They tangle in the middle of the ring and Rusev slams Woods into the mat for another close pin attempt. Nakamura and Rusev keep control and hit a big double team move. Nakamura with a knee to the face for another 2 count on Woods.
Nakamura waits for Woods to get back up. Woods dodges the Kinshasa and rolls Nakamura up for a 2 count. Big E tags in and they catch Nakamura with a big double team Backstabber. Big E runs over Rusev as Lana looks on. Big E scoops Nakamura for the double team as Woods goes to the top. Lana gets on the apron and interferes as Rusev distracts the referee. More back and forth now. This leads to Rusev nailing a big Machka Kick on Big E but Woods breaks the pin up just in time. Woods dumps Nakamura out to the floor. Rusev sends Woods to the apron. Woods sends Rusev to the floor. Woods runs the ropes and leaps out but Nakamura and Rusev catch him in mid-air, then spike him hard into the floor. Rusev brings Woods back in for a close 2 count. Rusev and Lana can’t believe it. Rusev stomps Woods for The Accolade and locks it in. Woods fights it and goes for the bottom rope but Nakamura pulls it back. Big E grabs Nakamura and tosses him into the timekeeper’s area. Rusev breaks the hold and stares out at Big E. Rusev turns around to a roll-up from Woods for 2. Rusev misses in the corner and hits the ring post. Big E tags in and scoops Rusev as Woods goes to the top. Woods with the UpUpDownDown from the top for the pin to win.

SmackDown Tag Team Titles Match: The Miz and Shane McMahon vs. The Usos
We go right to the ring and out first comes Shane McMahon. The Miz is out next for a hometown pop and they head to the ring together. They are both wearing the colors of the Cleveland Browns. Miz goes to ringside and greets his dad George. Shane comes over and does the same. The big hometown reaction for Miz continues. Out next are SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso. We see the Spanish and German announce teams at ringside.
Shane starts off with Jimmy and strikes first. Shane takes control early on and covers for a pin attempt. Miz tags in for a pop. Miz goes to work on Jimmy and takes him down for a 2 count. Fans start chanting for Miz now as he beats Jimmy from corner to corner. Jimmy runs into a kick. Miz with a roll-up out of the corner for another pin attempt. Miz tags Shane in for the double team. They hit the Hart Attack and Shane covers for a 2 count on Jey now.
Jimmy takes a cheap shot from the apron but he gets payback when he tags in as they hit a big double team move on Shane. Fans chant for Shane as Jimmy beats him around. The Usos double team Shane as Miz reaches for the tag. Jey mounts Shane with strikes and keeps him grounded now. Jey keeps control and drops Shane with a big kick. Jimmy tags in and drops Miz off the apron as Jey keeps Shane down. Jimmy taunts Miz to boos and then goes back to work on Shane. Jey with a cheap shot to Shane while Jimmy has the referee distracted. Jimmy keeps Shane grounded in the middle of the ring again.
Miz gets close to the tag but Jimmy pulls Shane back and drops a knee. Jimmy focuses on the leg and tags in Jey for another double team. Jey drops the headbutt and covers Shane for a 1 count. Shane manages to connect with a big DDT out of nowhere. Miz finally gets the hot tag for a big pop. He comes off the top and goes right to work on Jimmy. Miz with the It Kicks and double knees in the corner. Miz with another set of double knees for another pop. Miz with the running clothesline in the corner. Miz drops Jey off the apron with a big boot. Miz comes in from the apron and rolls Jimmy up for a 2 count. Miz sends Jimmy out to the floor next to Jey. Fans pop as Miz goes to the top. Miz leaps out and takes down both opponents on the floor, right in front of his dad.
Miz brings it back in the ring but Jimmy misses an enziguri. Miz drops him with a DDT for a 2 count as Shane cheers him on. Miz misses a running kick and gets rolled up for a 2 count. Jey tags in for the double team Samoan Drop for a close 2 count. Jey taunts Shane before charging in the corner at Miz. Miz counters. Jey blocks the Skull Crushing Final and rocks him. Jimmy tags in but Miz fights them both off. Miz comes off the top but they hit a double superkick for a 2 count as Shane breaks the pin up. Shane with strikes until they catch him in a big Samoan Drop as well. Miz drops Jey off the apron and then hits the Skull Crushing Finale on Jimmy. Miz covers for the pin. The referee is busy checking on Shane. The referee finally turns around but Jimmy kicks out. Fans boo.
Miz drives knees into the leg of Jimmy now. Miz goes for the Figure Four but Jimmy kicks him into the ring post. Jey tags in and taunts Miz’s dad. Jey lifts Miz on his shoulders as Jimmy goes to the top. Miz slides out and sends Uso into the corner, knocking the other down from the top. Miz rolls Jey up for a 2 count. Miz sends Jey to the apron and runs into an enziguri from him. Jey goes to the top but Miz crotches him. Miz rocks Jey and climbs up but Jey fights back, dropping him over the top rope. Shane goes to the top for a Coast 2 Coast on Jimmy. Jey goes to the top and we have a top rope stand-off now. Shane leaps at Jimmy as Jey leaps at Miz, they collide in mid-air and fans chant “holy shit!” now. We get a replay of the big collision.
Fans chant for Miz now. Miz goes back to the top for a Frogsplash but Jimmy gets his knees up. Jimmy turns that into the pin to retain.
Winners: The Usos
– After the mach, The Usos take the titles and leave as their music hits. Miz and Shane start to recover in the ring as we go to replays. Miz checks on Shane in the corner now, helping him to the floor. Fans cheer them on after The Usos leave. They go over to Miz’s dad at ringside, raising their arms in the air. George raises both of their arms. Miz walks off and Shane comes from behind, dropping him with a clothesline. Shane unloads on Miz and beats him down at ringside now as fans boo. The boos continue as Shane destroys the hometown star at ringside. Shane has words with George now. Shane grabs him by his face, talks trash and pushes him back. Shane goes back to work on Miz now. Shane applies a submission on the floor, right in front of Miz’s dad, talking trash and taunting him. Shane manhandles Miz some more before heading to the back as the boos continue. George comes over the barrier to check on Miz with two referees. Shane stops on the stage and looks at the crowd as they continue to boo him. Fans chant for Miz as he’s helped to his feet. We go to replays.
– We get a backstage video of Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley mocking The Shield and sending them warnings for tonight’s big six-man match. Drew says The Shield will be destroyed by the new dominant force of WWE tonight.
– We go to the ring and Elias is out for another song. He starts up and goes into taking shots at Cleveland. Back to a break.
– We see the pre-show segment that led to Kofi Kingston going to the McMahon Family to discuss tonight’s WWE Title match.
SmackDown Women’s Title Match: Mandy Rose vs. Asuka
We go the ring and out first comes Mandy Rose with Sonya Deville. SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka is out next.
The bell rings and they go at it. Asuka takes Rose down first and kicks her in the back. Asuka takes control and applies a submission. Asuka keeps control and sends Rose into the corner. Asuka gets distracted by Deville, allowing Rose to bring her in from the apron. Rose talks trash and goes for a move but Asuka turns that into an ankle lock. Deville interferes two more times, allowing Rose to drop Asuka with a big knee for a pin attempt.
Rose works Asuka around now. Rose with a suplex for a 2 count. Rose with an abdominal stretch now. Asuka ends up blocking a German suplex attempt and applying a submission of her own. Deville looks under the ring but doesn’t find what she was looking for. Rose slides out of the hold and dumps Asuka into the mat for another 2 count. Rose talks trash and bullies Asuka around. Asuka rocks her and delivers strikes in the middle of the ring now. Asuka comes off the second rope with a dropkick.
They trade shots now. Asuka blocks a kick and drops Rose with a kick to the face. Asuka with a Hip Attack. Asuka with a German suplex and a sliding knee to the face. Rose still kicks out. Asuka unloads with kicks now. Asuka misses a Hip Attack and Rose drops her for a 2 count. Rose can’t believe it. Rose goes for her finisher but Asuka counters and connects with a knee to the nose to drop Rose again as Deville shows frustration on the outside. Asuka with more strikes as Deville goes under the ring for a kendo stick.
Rose and Asuka go at it in the middle of the ring. Rose gets sent into the ropes but she slips on the ring apron that was in the way because Deville was looking under the ring. Asuka takes advantage of the slip and nails kick to the face. Asuka covers for the pin to retain.
Winner: Asuka
– After the bell, Asuka leaves with the title as Deville comes in to apologize to Rose. We go to replays. Rose leaves and Deville continues to apologize but Rose just keeps walking.
– Big E and Xavier Woods find Kofi Kingston backstage, still waiting outside of the McMahon Family office. They go in and Vince McMahon says he’s the one who has been waiting. Xavier praises Kofi and really talks him up, telling Vince that the big box office draw he’s been looking for has been in front of him for 11 years, Kofi. Big E also talks Kofi up for a spot in tonight’s WWE Title match. Vince says the match will be a Triple Threat. Woods and Big E will be banned from ringside and they’re OK with that. Vince sends Kofi to the ring because that match is now.
1-on-2 Handicap Match: Kofi Kingston vs. The Bar
We go to the ring for tonight’s WWE Title match and out comes Kofi Kingston first as fans chant his name. Hamilton goes to introduce the next participant but a staffer from ringside stops him to deliver a message. Hamilton announces that the WWE Title will now be taking place later tonight as the following is just a Handicap Match. Hamilton introduces The Bar, Cesaro and Sheamus. He announces that The Bar will be wrestling at the same time in this match. Kofi shakes his head as Cesaro and Sheamus head to the ring. Saxton says Kofi was screwed again.
The bell rings and the double team begins as Kofi gets beat down. Kofi eventually fights back and out of the corner but the double team is too much. The beating continues as The Bar takes Kofi to the floor and works him over against the barrier. Kofi fights back and sends Sheamus into the ring post. Kofi brings Cesaro back into the ring and goes to the top. Fans pop as Kofi takes down Sheamus on the apron instead. Kofi goes back to the top and leaps down to Cesaro but Cesaro hits a big uppercut in mid-air.
Cesaro grabs Kofi for a big double team move as Sheamus comes off the top with a clothesline. Sheamus drops Kofi with a big Brogue Kick as a “this is boring!” chant starts up. Sheamus with another Brogue Kick. Big E and Xavier Woods run down from the back but they get dropped on the ramp by Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura as they run out. Rusev and Nakamura deliver a Kinshasa and a Machka Kick. Back in the ring, The Bar hits a double White Noise from the top on Kofi for the pin.
Winner: The Bar
– After the match, The Bar celebrates the win as The New Day recovers.
– Kayla Braxton is backstage with WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Bayley. They are confident about going into tonight’s title defense and being the strongest tag team in the division.
– Elias is back out for another song. He takes shots at The Miz, Kofi Kingston and the people of Cleveland. He also sings about putting all the Kofi hype to rest, then gets more local heat for saying he’s a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. We go to another break.
– Tom shows us a replay of Shane McMahon’s heel turn on The Miz. Kayla knocks on the McMahon Family office and out comes Shane. She asks if he has an explanation for what he did to Miz and his father. Shane just turns around and walks back in the office, shutting the door in her face.
RAW Tag Team Titles Match: Ricochet and Aleister Black vs. Chad Gable and Bobby Roode vs. The Revival
We go to the ring and out first comes Ricochet as Mike Rome does the introductions. Michael Cole is on commentary with Graves and Renee Young. Aleister Black is out next. Chad Gable and Bobby Roode are out next, followed by RAW Tag Team Champions The Revival, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. We see the other international announce teams in the arena for tonight.
The teams have words and some shoving early on. The Revival gets knocked out of the ring by the other two teams. They go at it with Ricochet and Black clearing the ring. They run the ropes to leap out but they put the brakes on and pose in the ring, staring their opponents down on the outside. Things calm down now as Ricochet and Gable start the match, trading holds. Gable slams Ricochet and they continue to tangle. Gable with another takedown to the mat. Ricochet counters and takes Gable down with a scissors. Ricochet keeps control for a pop. Gable fights out of a hold with a right hand. Dash tags in and The Revival goes on to double team Ricochet as Dawson hits a suplex on Ricochet for a 2 count. Dawson delivers a big shot to the face of Ricochet, keeping him down.
Dawson takes Ricochet to the corner for chops and stomps. Dash tags back in for more double teaming and a 2 count. Gable tags himself in. Gable with a suplex on Ricochet for a 2 count. Gable works Ricochet over and keeps him grounded in the middle of the ring. Dawson tags back in and drops Ricochet over the top rope. Dawson drops a leg and an elbow on Ricochet. Dawson drops a headbutt and a back suplex for another close 2 count on Ricochet.
Dawson with some manhandling of Ricochet, keeping him down. Ricochet with a big elbow to the face. Dash gets knocked off the apron by Ricochet. Ricochet goes for the tag but Dawson stops him. Ricochet rolls out of the corner and drops Dawson with double knees. Black tags in as Roode tags in. Black unloads. Gable comes in and Black drops him as well. Rode hits Black and fights off Dash as he runs in. Black comes back and takes Roode down with strikes. Black with a big moonsault to drop Roode in the ring. Fans pop for Black as he stands tall off the moonsault. Black kicks Dawson away as he runs in, allowing Roode to hit Black with a Spinebuster as Black was trying for Black Mass.
Gable and Roode go for the double team but Black gets free. Black with a Meteora to Roode. More back and forth. Gable nails a big German to Black. There’s chaos for a minute as Ricochet gets a close 2 count on Dash as Roode breaks the pin up just in time. Ricochet tosses Roode to the floor and he lands hard. Dawson tags in but Ricochet doesn’t see it as he goes for Wilder. Wilder gets dumped to the floor. Ricochet goes to the top but Gable tries to stop him. Ricochet kicks him to the floor. Dawson fights Ricochet off the top. Dawson goes to the top but Ricochet rocks him and climbs up. Ricochet sends Dawson to the floor with a hurricanrana but barely connects, knocking down Dash, Roode, Gable and possibly Black on the floor. Ricochet and Dawson both landed hard if not bad. Fans chant “holy shit!” now. Ricochet brings Dawson in the ring as they are legal. Dawson is still dazed. Ricochet goes to the top. Roode sends Black into the barrier. Ricochet comes down off he top and runs the ring, leaping over the ring post to take down Roode on the floor. Gable can’t believe what he saw. Gable comes off the top on Dawson but Dawson turns it into a roll-up for 2. Gable with a 2 count on Dawson. This leads to The Revival hitting a Shatter Machine on Gable for the pin to retain.
Winners: The Revival
– After the match, Dash attacks Black as he tries to come into the ring, kicking him back out. Roode attacks The Revival from behind and hits a Glorious DDT on Dawson. Black with a Black Mass for Roode and a big kick to the face to Dash. Ricochet drives Dash into the mat. Ricochet goes to the top as fans pop. Ricochet goes for the big 630 and lands hard on Dash. Ricochet and Black celebrate in the ring as the music hits. We go to replays. The Revival limps up the ramp with the titles as the others look on.
– The announcers hype The Shield’s reunion tonight and Cole mentions Dean Ambrose not re-signing his WWE contract. They also hype Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch. We see Flair backstage getting ready. Lynch comes walking down a hallway, still using a crutch. We go to another break.
Fatal 4 Way for the WWE United States Title: R-Truth vs. Andrade vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Samoa Joe
We go to the ring and out first comes R-Truth with Carmella. They rap Truth’s entrance and Carmella has more of her own lyrics now. Andrade is out next with Zelina Vega. Rey Mysterio is out next, followed by new WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe for his first defense.
The bell rings and everyone goes at it. Rey sends Andrade to the floor. Joe unloads on Rey after sending Truth out. Truth clotheslines Andrade and Rey down on the floor after Andrade caught a slide by Rey. Joe runs the ropes and nails a big suicide dive, taking down all three opponents on the floor. Joe stands tall and gets a pop.
Joe with chops to Rey and Andrade in the ring now. Andrade rocks Joe and they trade stiff shots now. Joe with a headbutt in the corner. Joe with a forearm to Rey. Truth grabs Joe’s leg from the floor, allowing Andrade to rock him. Andrade launches Rey into Joe with a senton. Andrade levels Rey as Joe gets sent to the floor. Andrade with a 2 count on Rey. Truth drops Joe and comes back in to go at it with Andrade. Truth with a 2 count as Carmella cheers him on. Truth and Andrade go at it now. Rey comes off the top and takes them both down at once, and again. Truth and Rey go at it in the middle of the ring now. Joe runs in and clotheslines them both at the same time. Vega and Carmella have words at ringside as Joe works Rey into the corner. Joe beats Truth down in the opposite corner.
Truth fights Joe off but Joe catches him for the Coquina Clutch. Rey makes the save and goes for a 619 but Joe avoids it. Joe scoops Rey for a slam but Rey turns it into a big DDT. Rey with a 2 count on Joe. Rey goes to the top but Andrade runs back in and crotches him. Andrade with shots to the others while they are down as Vega cheers him on. Andrade rocks Rey and climbs up with him. Rey avoids the superplex. Truth comes over and joins in. Andrade is on Truth’s shoulders as Rey takes him off with a hurricanrana. Truth ends up going for the pin on Andrade but Rey leaps in from the apron and breaks it with a leg drop just in time. Joe breaks a pin up next. Joe drops Truth in the corner. Rey flies in at Joe but Joe catches him in mid-air. Andrade flies in next with a missile dropkick. Everyone is down now. Andrade grabs Rey and hits the Three Amigos in the middle of the ring as fans boo. Rey blocks the third and rolls him up for a 2 count. Andrade with a Gory Special submission now. Truth breaks it up with a kick to the face. Carmella rallies the crowd now. Truth with a 2 count on Andrade. Truth with a 2 count on Rey. Truth splashes Rey in one corner. He charges at Andrade but gets sent to the apron. Joe sends Truth face-first into the apron. Andrade flies out and hits a corkscrew on Joe to bring him down. Rey goes to the top and nails a big hurricanrana to the floor, sending Andrade flying on the floor. Vega can’t believe it.
Vega runs interference on the outside, then nails Truth. Carmella comes over and takes her out for a brawl at ringside. Joe brings Rey in the ring for an Uranage but Rey kicks out at 2. Andrade with the Hammerlock DDT attempt on Rey in the middle of the ring but Truth makes the save on the pin. Andrade with running knees to Joe in the corner. Truth takes Andrade and then Joe down. Truth slams Andrade onto Joe next. Truth with another tribute to John Cena with the Five Knuckle Shuffle to Joe as Andrade moves out of the way. Truth drops Andrade with a kick to the back of the head but Joe breaks it up with a big senton. Joe dodges the scissors kick and sends Truth into the ring post. He falls out to the floor. Rey sends Joe into position and then hit the 619. Rey flies in to drop the dime but Joe avoids it. Joe applies the Coquina Clutch to Rey in the middle of the ring. Rey quickly fades out and the referee calls the match.

– After the match, Joe stands tall and takes the title as his music hits. We see the others trying to recover as the referee checks on Rey in the ring. We go to replays. Joe marches up the ramp and stops to raise the title.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles Match: Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka vs. Sasha Banks and Bayley
We go to the ring and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix is introduced as the guest commentator for this match. She joins Cole, Graves and Young at ringside. Out first are WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Bayley for their first title defense. They head to the ring together after Banks comes out first. Tamina Snuka is out first for her team. She waits on the stage and out next comes Nia Jax. They head to the ring together. We get formal ring introductions from Rome.
Bayley starts off with Snuka. Bayley gets sent to the corner but she fights out. Banks tags in and they turn it around. Jax tags in and they try to keep momentum going with frequent tags but Jax tosses one into the other to take control. Jax unloads on Bayley now. Snuka comes in for the double team on Bayley. Snuka with a 2 count. Snuka with more shots in the corner now. Jax tags back in and fights Bayley off. Snuka with another tag. Jax and Snuka continue to make frequent tags. Jax powerbombs Bayley and Snuka covers for a close 2 count. The referee checks on Bayley while she’s down. Snuka keeps her grounded in the middle of the ring now.
Banks finally gets a tag and she goes to work on Snuka. More back and forth between the two. Banks rocks Jax on the apron. Jax tags in for the double team Samoan Drop but they botch it. Jax recovers and hits the Samoan Drop on Banks but Bayley breaks the pin up. Jax misses a splash in the corner. Bayley tags in and unloads on Jax in the corner. Snuka runs in but Bayley sends her out to the floor. Jax tries to stop Bayley’s momentum. Snuka gets sent into the ring post, then Jax does. Banks tags in and hits the Meteora from the top to Jax. Banks and Bayley with another double team with Banks going to the floor. Bayley runs the ropes and nails a dive, taking down Banks, Jax and Snuka on the floor. The referee counts.
Banks and Bayley push Jax back into the ring. Banks goes to the top for the double knees. Bayley follows up with the top rope elbow drop but Snuka breaks the pin up. Banks runs over to stop Snuka but Snuka drops her on the floor. Bayley drops Snuka over the middle rope. Jax grabs Bayley for a powerbomb but it’s countered with a pin attempt to retain the titles.
Winners: Bayley and Sasha Banks
– After the match, Jax and Snuka immediately attack the champions. They toss them out of the ring to the floor. Snuka knocks Bayley back with a superkick to the face. Jax launches Banks over one of the announce tables. Jax and Snuka stand tall as fans boo them. Phoenix backs up and turns around to Snuka staring her down. They have words as fans cheer. Phoenix drops Snuka with a forearm. Jax comes from behind and drops Phoenix. Jax and Snuka double team Phoenix. Jax brings Phoenix into the ring and runs the ropes for a big leg drop in the middle of the ring. Snuka goes to the top for a splash on Phoenix but Natalya runs down to make the save for her longtime friend. The double team catches up as Natalya gets beat down as well. Officials hit the ring to get Snuka and Jax out. Phoenix and Natalya are down as referees check on them. Fans boo as Jax and Snuka back up the ramp with smiles on their faces. We go to replays. Jax and Snuka stare at the ring from the stage as Phoenix and Natalya recover. We go to a break.

Triple Threat for the WWE Title: Mustafa Ali vs. Kevin Owens vs. Daniel Bryan
We go to the ring and out first comes Kevin Owens. WWE Champion Daniel Bryan is out next with Rowan. The match is about to begin when the music hits and out comes Mustafa Ali. Vince McMahon wasn’t lying about this being a Triple Threat. Hamilton does formal ring introductions next.
The bell rings and fans start chanting “we want Kofi!” for Kofi Kingston. Bryan rants about how Ali and Owens don’t belong in this match. Owens drops him with a big right hand. Owens and Ali go at it now while Bryan is down on the outside. Fans chant for Kofi some more. Bryan comes back in but Owens knocks him out of the ring. Owens goes back to beating on Ali in the corner. Ali looks to make a comeback as Rowan watches from the outside. Ali drops Owens and covers for a pin but Bryan breaks it up.
Bryan goes to work on Ali now as fans chant for Kofi. Ali dumps Bryan over the top rope to the floor. Owens tries to get the win on Ali but can’t. Owens misses a shot on Ali and Ali nails a dive out of the ring, taking Bryan down. Kofi chants continue. Owens with a cannonball from the apron to Ali on the floor. Owens with a big cannonball to Bryan against the barrier. Owens brings Bryan back into the ring for a 2 count. Bryan turns it around on Owens as fans chant for Kofi. Ali fights in and knocks Bryan back. Owens gets rocked by a kick from Ali. Bryan leaps and dropkicks Ali from the top all the way down to the barrier and he lands hard. Bryan takes Owens to the corner and works him over now. Bryan with unloads kicks and chops in the corner. Bryan gets fired up with kicks but fans boo him.
Bryan keeps Owens grounded and works on him arm as Rowan watches. Fans chant “we want Kofi” again. Owens turns it around but Bryan clotheslines him and talks some trash. Bryan with kicks while Owens is on his knees now. Bryan drops Owens with the roundhouse kick and covers for a 2 count but Ali comes in out of nowhere to break it up. Bryan with a belly-to-back suplex on Ali. Bryan with kicks to Ali while he’s on his knees now. Ali ducks the last kick and mounts some offense, nailing a Facebuster. Ali unloads into the corner now. Ali hits the ropes but Bryan levels him with a big clothesline. Bryan poses and fans boo. Bryan misses Owens in the corner. Owens with corner cannonballs to both opponents. Owens runs into a superkick from Ali. Owens fires back and then drops Bryan. Ali jumps on Owens’ back but Owens nails a double senton on both opponents.
Owens with chops to Bryan in the corner now. Owens takes Bryan to the top and chops him again. Owens climbs up for a superplex but Bryan resists and sends him down. Ali runs up to the top for the superplex. Owens comes and puts Ali on his shoulders. Ali slides down and sends Owens into Bryan. Ali with an inverted hurricanrana on Owens. Ali goes back up and brings Bryan down with a standing Spanish Fly from the top. Bryan rolls to the floor to avoid the pin. Ali goes to the top and goes for the 054 on Owens but Owens moves out of the way. Owens with a Stunner on Ali in the middle of the ring for a close 2 count as Bryan breaks it up. More back and forth between Bryan and Owens now. Owens catches Bryan in a pop-up powerbomb for a close 2 count. Owens can’t believe it.
Owens goes to powerbomb Bryan on the apron but Bryan backdrops him. Owens falls to the floor. Bryan charges on the apron with a running knee but Ali moves and Bryan knees the ring post. Ali with a shot to the throat of Bryan. Ali goes to the top and hits the 450 on the apron to Bryan. Bryan rolls in the ring but Ali crawls for him and makes the close 2 count as Rowan pulls Bryan to safety.
Rowan approaches Ali in the ring but he gets superkicked. Owens gets involved and they hit the double kick. He goes into the ring post next. Owens runs the ropes and leaps out, taking down Rowan on the floor. Bryan nails a knee to Owens on the floor. Bryan brings Owens back into the ring but Ali rocks him from the apron and they trade shots. The Network feed briefly cuts out here.
Owens goes to powerbomb Bryan on the apron but Bryan backdrops him. Owens falls to the floor. Bryan charges on the apron with a running knee but Ali moves and Bryan knees the ring post. Ali with a shot to the throat of Bryan. Ali goes to the top and hits the 450 on the apron to Bryan. Bryan rolls in the ring but Ali crawls for him and makes the close 2 count as Rowan pulls Bryan to safety. Bryan sends Ali down and he lands on his feet on the floor. This leads to Bryan jumping for a big DDT on the floor. Ali charges at Owens on the outside and Owens catches him in a pop-up powerbomb on the apron. Rowan stops Owens from capitalizing with a big spin kick. Rowan sends Ali in the ring and sends Owens over the timekeeper’s area. Bryan rolls in but Ali kicks out at 2. Bryan can’t believe it. Rowan looks on as Bryan is slow to pull it back together. Fans chant for Ali but Bryan gets up first. Bryan lifts Ali and talks trash about how he doesn’t deserve to be here, while rocking him with strikes. Ali fires back and Bryan runs into an elbow. They both collide in mid-air and Bryan connects with the flying knee for the pin to retain out of nowhere.
Winner: Daniel Bryan
– After the match, Rowan brings the WWE Title into the ring and helps Bryan up as the music hits. They stand tall and we go to replays. Bryan raises the title and then points to Ali as the music stops. Rowan grabs Ali and chokeslams him into the mat. Rowan stands over Ali and helps Bryan back up as the music starts back up.
– Back from a break and we get a video package for the next match.
Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair
We go to the ring and out first comes Charlotte Flair. Becky Lynch is out next. Lynch will be added to the WrestleMania 35 match with Flair and RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey if she wins, but she will be “done” if she loses, according to Stephanie McMahon. Becky is out with a crutch and fans won’t stop chanting her name already.
The bell rings and Flair points up at the WrestleMania 35 sign. Or maybe she is pointing for Lynch to toss the crutch out of the ring. Becky tosses the crutch to the floor and starts limping around. Flair toys around with her and laughs. Lynch fights back and knocks Flair against the ropes. Flair takes it to the corner and goes for the leg as the referee counts. Flair says Becky has to hit her harder than that. Lynch unloads but Flair takes the knee out and sends her down.
Flair continues to taunt Becky and work her around, focusing on the leg. Lynch tackles Flair and unloads with right hands. Becky misses an enziguri and Flair applies a half Crab. Fans chant for Becky as Flair keeps her down, focusing on the leg. Flair ragdolls Lynch some more as the referee checks on her. Cole reminds us Becky signed the Hold Harmless Agreement so she can’t hold WWE responsible for what happens to her in this match as she’s already injured. Flair drags Becky to the apron and slams the leg. Lynch kicks Flair in the throat. Flair comes back into the ring and kicks Becky’s knee out again. Flair points up at the WrestleMania sign and fans boo. Flair taunts Lynch and asks if she wants more. Becky tries to bring it but Flair delivers more punishment to the knee, mocking Becky to the referee. Flair with signature chops in the corner now.
Lynch counters Flair on the way down with a shot to the face but Flair quickly turns it back around. Lynch keeps swinging from her knees but Flair grabs her. Lynch rolls Flair up for a very close 2 count out of nowhere. Flair goes right back to the injured knee and then throws Lynch across the ring. Flair kips up and struts for some cheers. Lynch is down on the outside. Flair follows and launches Becky into the barrier. Flair brings it back in and steps on Becky’s face, apparently slipping on her. Becky fights from the mat. Flair climbs up to the top but Becky knocks her off and Flair lands hard on the floor. The referee counts.
Flair hits the ring to break the count but Lynch applies the Dis-Arm-Her. Flair overpowers and gets free, applying the Figure Eight. RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey runs down to the ring and nails Lynch while she’s in the submission. Fans boo as Rousey taunts the referee. The referee calls for the bell.
Winner by DQ: Becky Lynch
– After the bell, the referee calls for the bell as Flair gets to her feet. Rousey looks on as Rome announces Becky as the winner by disqualification, also confirming her WrestleMania 35 spot. Rousey smirks at Flair and makes her exit, heading up the ramp. Rousey stops and points back at the WrestleMania 35 sign as Becky sits up in the corner, realizing what just happened and smiling. Flair isn’t thrilled. Becky gets to her feet in the corner as her music hits.
– Back from the break and Elias is in the ring for another song. He sings and takes shot at Becky Lynch, and of course the people of Cleveland. He goes on and the music hits to bring Lacey Evans out. As she has been doing for weeks, she walks the ramp and turns right around to head to the back. Randy Orton suddenly hits the ring and lays Elias out with a RKO outta nowhere. Fans go wild as Orton stands over Elias. AJ Styles suddenly appears on the apron and flies in with a Phenomenal Forearm to bring Orton down. AJ’s music hits.
– Bobby Lashley vs. WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor is confirmed for RAW.

The Shield vs. Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley
We go to the ring and out first comes Baron Corbin for tonight’s main event. Bobby Lashley is out next without Lio Rush. Drew McIntyre is out last for his team. The heels wait until the music finally hits and out comes The Shield for their reunion. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins come through the crowd in their Shield gear. Cole says this is the last time we will see The Shield together as Ambrose is leaving WWE soon, Rollins is headed to WrestleMania 35 to challenge WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and Reigns has his whole career ahead of him.
The two teams meet in the middle of the ring for a face off. They all start brawling. The Shield clears the ring and stands tall for a pop from the crowd. The heels regroup on the floor. Rollins starts off with Lashley as the bell rings. Lashley strikes first and overpowers, ramming Rollins back into the corner with shoulder thrusts. Rollins fights out of the corner and ducks a clothesline. Rollins with a Slingblade. Lashley rocks Rollins into their corner and in comes Corbin. Corbin takes Rollins to another corner and taunts Reigns. Corbin runs into a boot. Rollins sends Corbin into the middle turnbuckle and in comes Ambrose for a double team with Rollins. Ambrose covers Corbin for a 1 count.
Corbin turns it around and takes Ambrose to the opposite corner. Drew tags in and goes to work on Ambrose but Ambrose slams him to the mat and sends him to the corner. Rollins tags in for the double team. Reigns tags in to double team Drew with Rollins. Reigns for a 2 count as Drew rolls to the floor for a breather. The heels regroup again as The Shield stands tall together in the ring. Reigns and Drew stare each other down now. Drew strikes first and goes to work. Drew unloads in the corner and yells in Reigns’ face. Drew runs into an elbow in the opposite corner. Rollins tags in for the double shoulder tackle to Drew. The double team continues and Rollins takes Drew to the corner. Drew delivers a big kick to the ribs to shut the momentum down. Lashley tags in and goes to work on Rollins on the outside, ramming him back into the barrier. Lashley drives Rollins back into the barrier again.
Lashley brings Rollins back into the ring for a 2 count. Corbin tags in and nails Rollins in the corner. Fans chant for Rollins as Corbin drop him again. Rollins fights back but Corbin elbows Rollins and keeps him grounded in the middle of the ring now. More back and forth between the two. Ambrose and Drew go at it now. Drew gets sent out. Ambrose with a big top rope elbow to the floor. Ambrose ends up eating a big Spear from Lashley when he comes back in. Corbin and Lashley double team Rollins on the floor, sending him over the barrier. Drew barely connects with a Claymore Kick to Ambrose in the ring but Ambrose falls to the floor. The referee counts on Ambrose but he makes it back in at the 9 count. Drew mounts Ambrose and unloads with strikes.
Corbin and Lashley double team Ambrose in the corner now. Lashley with a 2 count. Ambrose looks to make a comeback but Lashley drives him face-first into the mat for another pin attempt. Drew comes back in and delivers a big suplex to Ambrose for a 2 count. Drew talks trash and stomps on Ambrose’s hand. Ambrose blocks three suplex attempts and then nails a suplex of his own. Drew runs into a kick from Ambrose in the corner. Lashley tags in and takes Ambrose to the top. Lashley looks to hit the superplex but Ambrose resists and sends Lashley to the mat. Ambrose leaps out but rolls through, then hits a neckbreaker on Lashley. Drew tags in and stops Ambrose from tagging. Ambrose with the slingshot suplex to take Drew down. Rollins and Reigns rally for the crowd now.
Reigns and Corbin tag in at the same time. Reigns unloads with clotheslines. Reigns rocks Drew off the apron and then Lashley. Reigns with more offense to Corbin as fans cheer him on. Reigns exits the ring and runs around, delivering the Drive By to Corbin. Reigns with a 2 count as Drew breaks the pin up. Rollins launches himself in to take Drew out. Lashley goes for Rollins but Ambrose makes the save. Lashley dropkicks Lashley, then Rollins dropkicks Lashley. Rollins and Ambrose run the ropes together and hit a double suicide dive, taking Lashley and Drew out on the floor. Reigns clotheslines Corbin over the top rope to the floor. Reigns runs the ropes to a big pop but Corbin intercepts him at the ropes, nailing a Deep Six for a close 2 count. Drew and Lashley pound on Rollins in the timekeeper’s area now. Ambrose runs off the announce tables and dives at them all.
Reigns rocks Corbin in the ring now. They trade shots. Corbin avoids a Samoan Drop and sends Reigns into the ring post for a 2 count. More back and forth. Corbin chokeslams Reigns for a 2 count. We see Rollins, Ambrose, Lashley and Drew brawling over by the Kickoff pre-show panel set, slamming each other into production cases and other objects. Corbin takes Reigns to the top for a superplex now. Reigns resists and fights back. Corbin also fights back while they’re still up top. We see Drew and Lashley double teaming Ambrose. Reigns counters Corbin up top and brings him to the mat with a sitdown powerbomb. Corbin still kicks out at 2. We see Lashley and Drew place Ambrose on top of the Kickoff table. Ambrose leaps off but they catch him. Rollins comes flying off the stands, taking Lashley and Drew down, along with Ambrose who they were holding. Reigns waits for Corbin to get up in the ring now. Reigns jumps for the Superman Punch but it’s blocked. Reigns avoids a chokeslam. Corbin runs back in and Reigns hits the Superman Punch but Corbin kicks out at 2. Reigns is surprised.
We see Ambrose and Rollins coming back to the ringside area as Reigns readies for a Spear, waiting for Corbin to get up. Drew comes over and sends Ambrose into the barrier. Reigns with Superman Punches to Drew and Lashley on the apron. Corbin nails End of Days on Reigns but Rollins makes the save just in time, barely breaking the pin up in time. Corbin is frustrated now as he unloads on The Shield while they are down. Corbin sends Reigns out of the ring and follows. Corbin calls the shots as Drew and Lashley help take apart the announce tables. They go to do a Shield powerbomb on Reigns first but Ambrose and Rollins make the save. Lashley and Drew fight them off. Reigns with a Superman Punch to Lashley to stop Rollins from behind put through the table. Reigns with another Superman Punch as there’s chaos at ringside now. Lashley gets taken out by a Stomp from Rollins. Reigns drops Corbin with a Spear on the floor. The Shield triple teams Drew on the floor now. Corbin is rolled into the ring. The Shield brings Drew over to an announce table and they put him through it with their signature powerbomb. Fans chant “one more time!” at The Shield.
The Shield turns their attention to Corbin, who is still down in the ring. Fans chant “this is awesome!” as The Shield stalks Corbin from the apron. Corbin is surrounded in the ring now. Rollins with a superkick. Reigns with a Superman Punch. Ambrose with a Dirty Deeds. Fans pop as The Shield celebrates the beatdown on Corbin, getting Cleveland hyped up. They deliver a big Shield powerbomb to Corbin in the middle of the ring and Reigns covers for the pin to win.

– After the match, The Shield stands tall together as their music hits. We go to replays. We come back to Cole talking about saluting The Shield for the last time as Ambrose’s future is up in the air. Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns do the Shield style fist bump in the middle of the ring as WWE Fastlane goes off the air.
