AEW superstar MJF responded to a fan on Twitter claiming that he may need to get surgery. The 23-year old diamond ring winner has not wrestled since March 11th, and was not at the most recent batch of Dynamite tapings in Atlanta.
He writes, “I wish I could put my body on the line more for you guys. I truly care so much about you being entertained during your hour of need. Unfortunately something awful has happened to me and it has gradually gotten worse. I can’t comment on what the issue is at this time.”
He later adds, “My Issue has gotten worse, Its looking like I Might need surgery. I’m genuinely trying my very best to comeback for you guys.”
While there’s a good chance that MJF is working his heel gimmick as he always tends to do on social media, his absence from the last set of tapings could indicate a deeper issue. Check out his tweets below.
