Bully Ray recently shared his perspective on LA Knight challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel in Riyad, Saudi Arabia, on November 4.
During a discussion on the latest Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray emphasized the magnitude of this opportunity for Knight and speculated about the potential outcome.
Regarding the possibility of LA Knight winning the title, Bully Ray expressed his concerns, saying,
“I think it would be the most risky decision, business-wise, that I’ve seen in a long time.”
He acknowledged that Crown Jewel serves as a substantial opportunity for LA Knight, commenting,
“[Crown Jewel is] a big opportunity for LA Knight to take a step forward. That’s the best that they can hope for him. He’s very cool. I like the look. I like the presentation. I like the way he is on the stick. In Saudi [Arabia], he needs to prove to the office … that he can hang with Roman Reigns on a very big stage.”
Knight’s dramatic rise in the company over the past year has been perhaps one of the most incredible things in the history of professional wrestling, and while he is unlikely to walk out as champion, challenging Roman Reigns at this stage in his title reign, almost 1200 days in, when he barely wrestles, is in itself a testament to his climb to the top of the mountain.
