MLW will be represented at the upcoming NWA 74th Anniversary pay-per-view.
MLW and the NWA have announced that Davey Richards will defend his MLW National Openweight Title on Night 2 of the big NWA 74 event. Richards will put the title on the line against Thrillbilly Silas.
Richards became the third-ever MLW National Openweight Champion by defeating Alex Kane at the Battle Riot IV event that has not aired yet, which was taped on June 23 in New York City. Richards’ only title defense so far saw him retain over Rocky Romero at the NJPW Music City Mayhem event from Nashville in late July. Silas mainly worked for the IWA-MS promotion until making his NWA debut in mid-June.
The NWA 74th Anniversary pay-per-view will air live on Saturday, August 27 and Sunday, August 28 from Chase’s Khorassan Ballroom in St. Louis, Missouri. The event will air live on pay-per-view and FITE TV, with the Pre-show airing for free on YouTube. Below is the updated card:
