The ongoing rivalry between WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, following their recent appointments, took an interesting turn on the October 23 episode of WWE Raw.
Nick Aldis, the SmackDown GM, made a surprising appearance in Adam Pearce’s office, extending an apology for his decision to eject Pearce and Jey Uso from the October 20 edition of WWE SmackDown.
In a gesture of goodwill, Adam Pearce, the Raw GM, welcomed Aldis to stay for the remainder of the night to gain insights into how Raw operates.
However, tensions flared later in the episode when Pearce observed Aldis engaging in a conversation with Monday Night Raw Superstars, Kayden Carter and Katana Chance. While Aldis insisted that the conversation was purely friendly, he chose to leave the venue abruptly, stating his intention to “make things easy” for Adam Pearce.
This ongoing game of tit-for-tat between the two General Managers continues as we head towards Survivor Series later this month in Chicago.
