According to Fightful, IMPACT Wrestling is butting heads with its top superstar, Tessa Blanchard. Reports are that the promotion requested that the current world champion send in promos for tapings of their weekly show on AXS, but Blanchard failed to do so. Speculation is that things may have worsened from there.
Blanchard has been out of action due to travel restrictions from COVID-19, and has been quarantining in Mexico. IMPACT recently revealed that she’ll be defending the championship at Slammiversary in a Fatal-Five way against Ace Austin, Trey, Eddie Edwards, and Michael Elgin.
