There has been speculation about Drew McIntyre’s WWE contract ahead of his next big match. McIntyre took a break from WWE after WrestleMania 39 due to frustration with creative and talks for a new deal.
He will challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Title at Crown Jewel PLE.
Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed McIntyre’s contract status on Wrestling Observer Radio.
Meltzer noted that McIntyre has yet to sign a new deal and his existing deal is still up in April. Meltzer added that McIntyre is not someone looking to leave WWE, but he is a numbers guy, indicating he’s looking for a certain money figure.
