AEW President Tony Khan took to Twitter earlier today to announce new matchups for this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite.
In the women’s division…Dr. Britt Baker will be going one on one with Hikaru Shida.
New AEW signee Lance Archer, who won last week’s debut matchup against Marko Stunt in convincing fashion, will once again be in action, although is opponent has yet to be determined. Archer faces Colt Cabana in a first round matchup in the TNT tournament in two weeks time.
Previously announced for this week’s Dynamite was the tournament opener featuring Cody Rhodes against Shawn Spears. The last time these two met in singles-action was at AEW’s ALL OUT pay per view, where Rhodes picked up the win.
Khan also announces that former AEW world champion Chris Jericho will join Tony Schiavone at the commentary table.
