Title Match and More Added to Night 1 and 2 of NJPW Strong Independence Day, Updated Cards

Giulia vs. NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Willow Nightingale is now official for Night 2 of the upcoming NJPW Strong Independence Day event. It was also announced that Night 1 will feature Nightingale and Momo Kohgo vs. Giulia and Thekla in tag team action.

The NJPW Strong Independence Day event will take place on Tuesday, July 4 and Wednesday, July 5 from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The pay-per-view will air live on NJPW World. Below are the updated cards:

NIGHT ONE:

* IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions TJP and Francesco Akira defend against Drilla Moloney and Clark Connors

* NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Champions Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI defend against Gabe Kidd and Alex Coughlin

* Exciting Encounter Doomsday No DQ Match: Jon Moxley and Homicide vs. El Desperado and Jun Kasai

* NJPW Strong Openweight Champion KENTA and Gedo vs. Eddie Kingston and Rocky Romero

* NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Willow Nightingale and Momo Kohgo vs. Giulia and Thekla

* Tom Lawlor vs. Kosei Fujita

* Lance Archer, Alex Zayne and Ryohei Oiwa vs. JR Kratos, Jorel Nelson and Royce Isaacs

* The DKC vs. Bad Dude Tito
