The next date for the second return episode of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on NBC appears locked in.
As noted, it has been expected that the show will take place one week before the WWE Royal Rumble 2025 premium live event, which is scheduled for February 1, 2025 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
In an update, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter at F4WOnline.com confirmed the rumored date.
“It will be January 25,” Meltzer stated. “That date has been out there for a while, but WWE did confirm it to me.”
As far as the date for the second WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event being one week from WWE Royal Rumble 2025, Meltzer added, “The deal is that when they get the date from NBC, that is the date they run. They do not run NBC. NBC is the one who makes the choice. They are the higher power in this one.”
The first return episode of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is scheduled for December 14, with Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens, GUNTHER vs. Finn Balor and Liv Morgan vs. IYO SKY in three title matches advertised as the triple-header main event.
