Ilja Dragunov & Carmelo Hayes SegmentÂ
Ilja Dragunov:Â Carmelo Hayes, you disgusting rodent of a man, let’s go. I’m not in the mood to wait around all night. This is Stand and Deliver season. What did you talk about last week? We’re not talking about the NXT Championship, there’s nothing to talk about. What you’re looking for, Mr. Hayes, it’s right here. So, come out of your hiding place, and let’s talk about it.
Carmelo Hayes: Ilja, you’re the NXT Champion, for now. But you’re not the superstar that makes this brand go, I am. And it’s been that way since I stepped on the scene. I showed that ruthless aggression. You see this right here, Ilja, these security guards, they’re Melo security, and they are here to do whatever it is I need them to do. Look at you, hey, you’re still pissed off that I used you, Ilja? That I made Trick doubt the great Ilja Dragunov. With your custom-made suits, so honorable with all of your integrity. It makes me sick. I can tell that you’re spiteful.
Ilja Dragunov:Â After what you did, you’re damn right about me.
Carmelo Hayes: And that’s exactly why I’m not stepping into that ring with you, Ilja. Not until I see a contract, not until you get AVA to make this whole thing official. Because Ilja, losing that NXT Championship to me, that’s your biggest fear. And I know that you’re not the type to take me out before the match. I know that. So go ahead, get everything in order, and then you and I can talk business. I’ll give you till the end of the night.
Dragunov starts attacking Melo’s security guards as the segment comes to an end.

And I have to give Lash Legend her flowers. She showed up. She showed out. And she stepped up. And I still got the battle wounds to prove it. But I promised you that I would be standing here as your NXT Women’s Champion. And well, I’m a woman that keeps my promises. And last week, I made Tatum a promise. Trust me, nobody was as shocked as I was when Tatum held up her end of the bargain, but she did. I think it’s time to give Tatum what she deserves, right? So, Tatum, can you come out here please?

Now then, I’m a man more of action than words, but it seems like my action as of late has gotten me in this predicament. See, when I retaliate against someone, it’s always me that takes it too far. But whether I like it or not, whether I understand it or not, I’m out here tonight to apologize for those actions. I was defending myself; I was defending my family. There was no malice. Ilja Dragunov, Carmelo Hayes, Tony D’Angelo and AVA Segment
Carmelo Hayes:Â Ilja, this is more like it. We got the contract. We got the boss here. Now we’re speaking the same language. But first things first, don’t get too intimidate by my security here, Ilja. I had to bring them back out for my protection. I hope you understand. But hey, AVA, thanks for coming, let’s get this show on the road. It’s been far too long since I’ve been with my NXT Championship. And next week at Roadblock, it’s going to be a sweet, sweet reunion.
Ilja Dragunov: Melo, we’ve been around each other for the last eight months, and I used to be shocked by your blatant conspiracy theories. But now I just realized this is who you are. Your willingness to disregard anyone or anything for this championship.
Carmelo Hayes:Â Absolutely, and it’s crazy hearing this from you, the same man that said last week, you’re going to take my soul. Hey, listen, man, you and I, the only difference between the both of us is that I’m just colder about the way I go about things. It’s true. And I am going to take title.
Tony D’Angelo:Â Excuse me, gentlemen and lady, but if you’re talking about big business, I got to be included in the conversation. So, let’s talk about it.
Carmelo Hayes:Â Tony, look, this has nothing to do with you, man. And if you say one more word, I’m going to have my security guards take you out of here. Don’t try me.
Tony D’Angelo:Â Melo, listen to me, you don’t have to be HIM or the NXT Champion to make things move around here. There’s only one DON here.
AVA: Tony, please.
Tony D’Angelo: So where was I? Oh, that’s right, I can’t be the only one that sees that the NXT Title picture has been dominated by this Melo, Ilja, Trick saga for the past eight months. But in my opinion, there’s only man who can flip the script on his head. It’s the DON of NXT. Now, I have respect, I even like Trick.
Carmelo Hayes: Listen, Tony, don’t do all of this.
Tony D’Angleo: Do not speak when I am talking. Melo, you’ve had a year to speak about this NXT Title, alright. I’ve heard it all. Oh, Melo is him, Melo is this, whatever, who cares. No, I’m not done. Mr. Dragunov, you dress like a champion, you’re intense, a little too dramatic for me, but I’m going to talk you harshly because you can handle it. And that makes some people uncomfortable, so put your earmuffs on, Melo. See, I’m here to show the world, and talk to you, face-to-face, and tell you that Tony D’Angelo is the man who wants to take the NXT Title away from you, not Carmelo Hayes. See, I earned everything I’ve ever got. And anyone that’s crossed me, they earned everything they had coming to them. So, listen, Melo is over her demanding a title match. I’m telling you right now, Ilja, Tony D’Angelo is going to earn an NXT Title Match at NXT Stand and Deliver.
Ilja Dragunov: Mr. D’Angelo, you pique my interest. A man that’s worked for his position. I can respect that.
Tony D’Angelo: Now listen, AVA agrees if you agree. Next week, NXT Roadblock, it’s going to be Carmelo Hayes versus Tony D’Angelo. And the winner gets an NXT Title Match at Stand and Deliver.
AVA: Listen, Ilja, Tony and I did have a conversation. And I did have a contract drafted for this, but it’s ultimately your decision. You’re the champion. However, if you say yes, the only thing that’s missing is Carmelo’s signature.
Ilja Dragunov: Actually, there’s nothing more in my life that I would like to see more than Melo finally earning something in his life. So, Tony D’Angelo, you got your match. But please, whoop that Melo.
Carmelo Hayes: Hey, you’re going to stand by this?
AVA: Yes, Melo. I am.
Carmelo Hayes: You’re going to be standing by this coward of a champion that he just proved to be in front of everybody? Come on. Alright, you know what, Tony? You can’t beat me. Come on, man. We’re talking about the NXT Championship, since you want to talk about it so bad, if we need somebody to take out the trash or book keep for some washed up school, you’re the guy for that. But when it comes to the NXT Championship, I am The Don.
Melo shoves D’Angelo into Dragunov. Melo attacks D’Angelo from behind. Melo Chokeslams D’Angelo through the table. Melo proceeds to sign the contract. Melo dumps the NXT Title on Dragunov’s chest as the show goes off the air.
