Roman Reigns & LA Knight’s Contract Signing
LA Knight: I know you’re not trying to move that table, aren’t you? No. You’re going to take all night because I don’t have the time. Let’s make this official and sign that title away. YEAH!
Nick Aldis: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to SmackDown live from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Now, gentlemen, we all know why we’re here. To sign the contract and make official for Crown Jewel, your match for the WWE Undisputed Universal Heavyweight Championship. Now, you and your representatives have looked over the fine details.
LA Knight: We all know why we’re here and what we’re doing, so let me talk to you. What we’re doing right now is looking at a contract. And in this very contract, it reads that Roman Reigns is going to hand over the WWE Championship to LA Knight. YEAH! So, why don’t I go ahead and sign that right now. There you go, big boy, have at it, chief.
Roman Reigns: Hey, idiot. No, I’m not talking to you, Milwaukee. I’m talking to you. This is crazy. You must be stupid. You’re just going to sign away. Let me ask you something. Have you ever had a contract signing? I got one more question. Have you ever had a championship match? I didn’t think so, so that means you got no clue what you’re doing right now. But don’t you worry, your Tribal Chief, I’m going to go easy on you. We’re going to make it really nice for you for your first time, don’t worry, we’re going to go really gentle with you, alright sweetheart?
Nick Aldis: Thank you gentlemen, that concludes my responsibilities this evening. I want to wish the both of you the very best of luck at Crown Jewel.
LA Knight: Hey, Roman, as far as I’m looking, I’m at the head of the table, so acknowledge me. You want to talk about my first contract signing. You want to talk about my first WWE Championship match. And you’re right, isn’t that crazy? You also said that you’re going to go easy on me. That’s sweet of you. And I hope you do, because if right now you think that you’re going to underestimate this man, because this is my first time around, my friend, you’re already beat. And I’m going to put it to you like this. Is this my first time? Hell yes, it is. So, I’m sitting here, and I’m thinking to myself, after only a single year, I’m sitting at the head of this table, about to take your title. And a climb so fast, you didn’t know what hit you.
And by the time we get to Crown Jewel, you’re going to be thinking to yourself, what the hell just happened, he just walked out with my WWE Championship. But, you see, you don’t understand. Yeah, this is my first time, but I only need one time. Because while you’ve failed over and over again, while you were busy doing sufferin’ succotash, I been out here telling everyone whose game this is. Not yet, folks. Because there could be only one WWE Champion. YEAH! There can only be one me. YEAH! And guess what? It’s coming up really soon, and there’s nothing you can do about it. And that’s not an insult, that is just a fact of life. I can’t stop this gravy train. I can’t stop the undeniable kavorka. And I can’t stop being the man they call, the megastar, with everybody saying it, LA Knight.

John Cena & Paul Heyman Segment
John Cena: This is what SmackDown looks like from a sold-out crowd in Milwaukee tonight. And this is what it sounds like from a sold-out Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Man, it is a special night. We are one week from Crown Jewel and there’s a special energy in this building tonight. There is a special excitement in the building tonight. For me tonight, the energy is a little bit different. It is special, but for tonight, the energy is serious. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had a lot of serious moments in my career, but it hasn’t been this serious since twenty years ago when the WWE wanted to fire me. And I think about that time, and what we did, we dug in deep, we turned it around and for twenty years, we’ve shared this. For over twenty years, each and every night, I’ve tried to give you my heart, I’ve tried to give you my soul and in return, you give me your noise, whether I like it or not. You may not realize this, but you’ve given me the support when I needed it the most. And most importantly, to me, you have given me your respect. The reason why Crown Jewel is so serious to me, is because for the first time in twenty years, I feel like I’m in jeopardy of losing your support.
For the first time in twenty years, I feel like I’m in jeopardy of losing your respect. I really do appreciate that, I do, thank you. But we can’t ignore the math, okay? But what if I don’t? We can’t ignore the data, and I’ll be honest, if I don’t deliver soon, we’ve seen it a thousand times, I’ll lose this. And if I lose this, we all know, the next thing to go is this and he points to the ring. And I don’t want to lose this. I want to hear your noise. I want to feel your support. I want to keep this ride going. So, there is only one thing left to do at Crown Jewel. Win. You know, WWE uses words like, must see all the time and they’re not kidding. You know, you must see the Royal Rumble, you must see WrestleMania, hell, you must see SmackDown live from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. And Crown Jewel is no different, it’s a must-see event. But Crown Jewel is not just a must see for me, Crown Jewel is a must win. I know that your respect earned, and I know that it takes guts to stand in this ring and promise and victory. But the time has come to knuckle up and now is the time to deliver.
Paul Heyman: Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman. And, yes, I serve as special counsel, and the wise man to the reigning, defending, Undisputed WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns. But that’s not why I’m out here. I’m out here with no hustle. I’m out here with no loyalty to anything but the truth. I’m out here, I assure you, with respect. And based on my past actions, I deserve that, but not tonight. With all due respect, may I? We are sold out tonight in Milwaukee. Thank you for the house. Thank you for 21 years of sold-out houses based on the name, John Cena. And mutual respect, where did all of that start? It started in a board room when Vince McMahon turns to me and said, when I’m running SmackDown, with the first pick from OVW, who did I pick? John Cena. And for 21 years, you’ve never let anyone down.
And for 21 years, you’ve been a real-life superstar. I wanted my kids to be more like you than I wanted them to be like me. And then came SummerSlam, when you faced Roman Reigns, with all due respect, Roman Reigns proved that you’re not the greatest in the ring anymore. But that’s not a bad thing, because as long as you can bring up a microphone up to your face, John Cena, and this is coming from me, you are the greatest of all time in communication in the history of WWE. I mean they’ll boo me out of the building, but they’ll laugh with you, they’ll cry with you, they’ll cheer with you. You have a bond with them that I’ll never have, John, because you, you can talk like no one else can on this planet can talk.
And what a future you still have. I’ve been doing this for 100 years, and I’m still on top, but John, you could have been me, until you pissed off The Bloodline. Now, the order has been called from the very top, from your tribal chief, Roman Reigns. It’s not enough to spear you, he’ll break your ribs, but you’ve had broken ribs before, you’ll be back. It’s not enough for Jimmy Uso to splash you off the top rope and crack your sternum. You’ve had a cracked sternum before, you’ve came back from that. But Solo, Solo hits you with that spike and then you can’t talk anymore. The greatest weapon that you have, the ability to communicate, taken away from you. What makes you so dangerous, taken away from you. John Cena versus Solo, Solo takes that away from you. And The Bloodline takes you away from your WWE Universe. You come out here, you open up your heart and you say, I must win, I must win. And John Cena, in the one match that you have left that you must win, you can’t win. And John Cena, that’s not a prediction, that’s a spoiler.

Bianca BelAir Promo
Man, I am so excited to be back on SmackDown. Now, last week, I did get my lick back, but I’m just getting started because while I was away, I had only one thing on my mind. And it replayed in my head, over and over again, like a horror story. It was this. That’s still hard to watch, but, you know, getting attacked from behind and being taken out of the game completely, just two weeks after getting cash in and losing my title to Iyo Sky at SummerSlam, yeah, that did something to me. Not just physically, but mentally. Because for the first time, I was out, I was sitting at home with nothing but my thoughts. And while I was rehabbing, yes, my body got stronger, my mind couldn’t focus on anything else but other than, how was I going to make Damage CTRL pay.
Because you know me, I’m usually the one when I get knocked down, I get right back up, shrug it off and put a smile on my face. But this time, I just could not let it go. And for the first time in my life, I was consumed with vengeance. And it was vengeance that was getting me up everything morning. It was vengeance that was allowing me to train like a beast, so that I could right back here to SmackDown. And it was vengeance that helped me come up with a plan that I took to Nick Aldis today. So, now it’s official, at Crown Jewel, your girl is getting a rematch with Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship. And I love that you guys are loving that, but guess what, that’s not it. Next week, I will be facing the headmaster of that attack, Bayley, because my vengeance is not complete until I take out every single member of Damage CTRL. Starting with Bayley, ending with Iyo and regaining my WWE Women’s Championship.
